Two out of the five of the First Ones' critically important creations almost immediately turned against them, and have been conspiring to undo the cosmos for millennia. The default setting for the afterlife if something goes wrong is "every soul in the multiverse goes to the worst possible Hell". There is no procedure to fix things if they go wrong, either. Given all this, I don't have any faith in the planning, design process, quality control, or finished products of the First Ones. :D
What I don't get is why the Jailer prototype has runes inscribed on it when the Primus told us he carved the runes on the Jailer's body to bind him to the Maw. So why would a prototype have the same runes? Also, why is there a hole in its' chest? I know the Jailer has a hole from where is powers were pulled out, but the prototype has not experienced that, so why would that be there?I know Blizzard's design and lore-departments rarely, if ever, speak with each other but, this is just lazy and opens way too many plot-holes.
where'd his nipples go? wtf blizz
Well they did say the prototypes were more evil than the ones we have now, Maybe zovaal is the more evil one, and he somehow killed off his replacement and took its place. Not saying its good. Just what else could it be and make sense...
I know its simple but I actually like this version of the Jailer more. I wish this had been his model the whole time instead of trying to make him look like Xerxes from 300.
is this an early april fools joke ? 🤦♂️
I honestly think the jailer should have looked different, Blizzard needs to step away from the gigachad alphamale bodies, booming low voice with effects and "puny mortals" type lines for its male bigbads. They do it for every single bad guy and it just comes off as a flat character now, an Ultron-esque machine that gets replaced by Arbiter aka Vision because it was insane and decided to do something opposite from its original design, or the original jailer design that eventually became the Primus, or just some emaciated guy who truly looked and sounded like someone who spent all of eternity chained up in a super jail, all would have been preferable.
