New expansion release time. Of course he's going to jump on it. Did you think ecelebs had any scrupules? ALL streamers are mainly concerned about money. They're not your friend and they're not there to support a cause, nor do they have any loyalty to anything but themselves. Which, you know, sounds logical and obvious, but apparently it still shocks and awes people when you tell them that. It's just going to be the same cycle of joining when it's popular (new expansion release "hype"), leaving after a few months if not weeks, saying that it's suffering from xyz and Blizzard isn't listening, hopping back when there's "hype" again and then leaving again.
Preach makes amazing content, some of yall are whiny bozos
naaah. Really? I said this on reddit when he quit, that he only quit to generate hype when he returned later. Got severily downvoted, and here we are. Hated for telling the truth. Seems to be a trend now days
Bandwagon Preach.
Glad to see Preach got to visit Blizzard HQ to have some meetings with people in dev power. If I remember right, that is something he wanted to do for a long time in order to passionately support the game with heavy feedback as an influencer. That's transparent communication; a positive in WoW's already transparent oriented development approach. You don't really see this with any other MMO.I quit watching Preach right after that video was posted that he was quitting as a WoW content creator, slamming Shadowlands for all its issues and the companies harassments controversy. Which, are fine subjects to complain about, but Preach really virtue signaled he was straight over with WoW after being hard focused on it up till then. I watched him for years, ever since I started in MoP, and it ended immediately because of the change in direction. Then he joined the Final Fantasy Online bandwagon. A real comedy sketch that one. Hype was in Endwalker and then after everyone played the story the bandwagon ended. Compare its viewership now on Twitch compared to WoW and you can clearly see it's not a popular streaming MMO either. Hardly anyone wants to watch a streamer go through the slow story filled with mostly uneventful walking around, head nodding, chattering, and spoilers. WoW endgame is a lot more diverse and action packed.I think maybe a reason why Preach quit WoW was because as a content creator he really tried too hard in all the wrong ways and it stained his attitude and perspective on WoW. I remember throughout Shadowlands he and someone else working with him were leveling characters to max level nonstop on Beta and trying to play all classes at endgame to try and share feedback through his content. Which, never really came to fruition last I remember. Playing WoW that way is extremely difficult. Any MMO played like that is a massive chore and not worth it. There are much smarter ways to create content that doesn't require it to be a real 9 to 5 job.I wont be returning to Preach as a subscriber. No need for him. Maximum and Manthieus are the only two I'm subscribed to. One had some major interviews with class Discord leaders across Dragonflight development. The other shares information for Dragonflight professions, a staple of the expansion that doesn't get as much information shared. Always saw Belluar as too negative. Nobbel shares lore I can read on wowpedia. Taliesin and Evitel share news I can read on wowhead. Asmongold is washed up ever since I saw him fail at raiding Sepulcher on normal with a pug and then complain about the game like its the issue and not the other way around. Final Boss disappeared years ago. Fat Boss IDC because I can find boss guides anywhere. The big takeaway is opinion pieced content creators and content creators that copy/paste information from elsewhere aren't necessary. I can make my own decisions and conclude on things myself. Don't need an influencer telling me what's right, wrong, or what is. Although, there are exceptions of course. Not all WoW content as easy to read into as others so creators help with understanding stuff.
Just don't come back. Fall back where you belong. You, among others, whined publicly that Anti-Magic Zone was too powerful. Well, you've made it useless now compared to other skills with your whining.BB MR. Preach.
omfg! Let's gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Of course he does. His words mean nothing to him and he'll do whatever he thinks will make him money.
maybe it was just the end of his first book in his wow coverage
Everyone in these comments being hateful towards Preach need a spoonful of sugar and a big hug. You people say he’s negative yet you’re all terribly rude and negative? He has actively been working with this game for YEARS. You guys have zero respect. He’s a human being that can choose to stop playing/covering a game if he wants to; especially coming off of the legal allegations at the time. None of you even come close to the same amount of commitment and dedication to this game as him. All you guys do is complain to complain, instead of giving constructive criticism like he and many other creators have been trying to do for the game for years. And I hardly even WATCH the guy at all.
