BLIZZARD!I understand what you are doing with Scale Mail. Please use the smaller scale pattern you have under the plate in place of the large scale pattern you have for Mail Armor. The current size of the scale pattern is too large.
It seems less of an artistic update and more of a visual update to replace the starting gear for female characters. in the tweet above it's drastically different from in game. The current starting gear is way more revealing on female models. Whereas, the male gear looks virtually the same with more pixels. These do look good though.
GIVE ME THE MAIL AND PLATE
Love how clothes without robes are literally pijamas.
Love it!
Meh... too much resource spent on stuff that gets replaced in half an hour. They don't even glow.I don't understand why so many people are splooging all over this.
Mail looks atrocious as usual. cloth pant variant may actually take the cake for worst of the sets though. None of them look good though in my opinion.
Wowhead i love you, but so much gear looks bad on human males. (covenant sets come to mind)Can we have some different races to show them off?
Needs more bulge :/
Cloth looks like pajamas.
This is very human inspired look.Sets per culture would at least be something. I'd wish those were in 3-d. Some of us prefer the leveling experience as much as others prefer different content which awards more ornate gear. It shouldn’t mean we have to get bland quality. I understand minimal and basic appearance earlier on in our travels but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t get coolness and 3-d. Explorer’s outfit should be a good comparison for simple yet quality with some doodads.I’m still holding out for actual civilian, profession, and traveling outfits, with quality and 3-d and physics. Tauren gowns, simple feather and bead shoulders, 3-d tomahawk or flute or seed/medicine pouch attached to waist. These starter pieces need to be themed per culture, not all human looking. Civilian clothing for races please. Tribal gowns for Tauren, open Hawaiian shirt and greased white or black tank top for goblins, with visor or single wide lens ‘ski mask’ goggles, wolf skin vests for orcs, etcSome of us prefer profession looking gear, shopkeeper outfits, citizen clothing based on our people. The nightborne have nice normal vests and sleeves and collars and scrolls tucked in belt with quill and stuff, Tauren have tribal garb, can have dream catcher and medicine/seed/herb pouch, pandaren can have robes and kegs and teapots. Lots would quest for these simpler yet traditional and enriching pieces. Especially for their favorite race. I’m not talking about heritage armor, I’m talking about civilian, profession, casual outfits for those of us who don’t want to save worlds but would rather relax in our home town or travel or trade, etc. profession-themed gear, such as pocketed vests for leather workers, tailors, and others, quill and scroll-stuffed satchels for scribes, tool belts tucked with handy tools and a pair of gem cutting goggles for jewelcrafters and engineers, and tome-toting travel bags for our trades. Simple yet immersive pieces of cosmetic gear such as profession-pouched belts and backpacks dangling with items we use for our craftsmanship, engineer and jewelcrafter toolboxes, blacksmith helmets and apron, etc. I think lots of players would have fun collecting and crafting these clothes, and I think the WoW community would love a wardrobe of civilian and profession gear to dawn when relaxing from honing skills and saving worlds. hopefully we'll see vials, potion bottles, blueprints, gem boxes, pouches of enchanting supplies, and various job-related ornaments adorning our busy workers. belts, vests, backpacks, satchels, waist packs, pouches, pockets, special hats and gloves, would all be cool! Some of us are left with no choice but to stop being told to care about the cosmic stuff, forget about them having ruined the wonder by revealing and interacting with too many mysteries, and so we carve out our own reason for playing, separate from the writers having thrown us fans and players away. Outfits and going back to our people are a way we can disregard how we and the game have been treated.I don’t think these should replace old gear as some of us have attachments to them, and we’ve collected them, and it would feel gross and strict father if its because of some older outfits dimensions. These newish sets aren’t showing head because with helms these sets would look very strict. Blizzard appearing wholesome but not sitting down to discuss how to achieve wholesomeness in a genuine way, means quick and thoughtless/heartless changes that don’t come from a place of warmth but from a place of fear and wanting to seem like they have integrity. A lot of these commenters here seem like fake YouTube and Twitter/Facebook commenters where they praise everything, without taking into account reason or scrutiny. Just something to consider, as I feel those who truly want what’s best for the quality and longevity of our game wouldn’t rush to praise or resub for this, and instead would want to hold off until blizzard does more and better, and, with warmth. These aren’t with warmth, these seem disingenuous. Like an intent to appear better when they’re not. Like a gift but it’s not.Get some race themed, culture inspired sets in there, and some 3-d pieces, and then at least the old fashioned blizzard quality and polish might be somewhat present.
The naïve part of me really wants to see HD versions of all the classic armor to perhaps go with the launch of fresh classic servers with changes. I'll be happy enough with any sort of new simple mog though.
So.... another flat armour? Seriously? Didn't even bother with adding 3d pieces to it? That's pitiful. I can get cooler armour from vanilla and tbc than this xP
More things always better than fewer things. Would be great if they keep remastering old sets. There are good and iconic Classic and TBC designs that could use it.
