I’ll be sure to keep a link to this article when they release MOP Classic and all the people in this thread complaining about outdated content being too easy will then be crying about challenge modes being too hard and needing to be nerfed.
I would love to expansions have more variety of dungeons like there were in Vanilla, BC, and Wrath where there were some dungeons that were related and/or interconnected. Like the Razorfen dungeons, or the dungeons in Auchindoun and the dungeons of Tempest Keep.
we need some kind of token and vendor (- esp when there will be a rotation). so we can buy our bis trinket after running 10-20x a dungeon (on m+15 or higher).. i mean in currently at try 26 in dos to get OPC.
ill dont mind adding older dungeons to a rotation BUT those dungeons need to be have same range of abilities / mechanics as current ones. and on top there needs to be a vendor or other system where u can get the ONE item you need from a dungeon - even when its not on the current rotation (if same season).
Having only the half of the new dungeons sounded realy bad at the first time, but to be honest those new ones will be old and boring after the first season if you push keys daily. So if the second season will be fresh not just because of the affix, but the instances too I think its fine. I am not a big fan of MoP dungeons, and I hope they choose something which atleast matches the dragon theme somehow. Or just select by the loot table, so everyone will have a goal to get. Balance will be the main issue here, tuning the old ones, making them as challanging as the DF dungeons while keeping an eye on every spec and their loot. I think it can be good and fun, but can also easily ruin m+ too.
Anybody who played Cataclysm when it came out would disagree with that.
Yeah, I wouldn't mind if they added older dungeons into the rotation later on, but starting the xpac with them isn't a good idea. I'd prefer to get all the new dungeons in the Mythic+ rotation, then cycle some in as a bonus in later patches.
People wanting 'new' stuff everytime is one of the things that is 'burning out' the devs, taking out their time and resources they could (and SHOULD) put towards stuff that are/were broken from past expansions (broken achievements, bugs and such). By keeping them mainly on 'new' stuff, with the 2-year-new-expansion mentallity right now, it makes the company having to hire way more people, to focus on some stuff and sometimes divert people from older stuff to new, so they 'achieve calendar goals'. Working under pressure is bad for any Job, and gaming shouldn't be one of those. Playerbase is demanding, yeah, but they should really separate what is trully demanding than what isn't, and if their own workers are getting burned out, they should review their schedules then (I never liked 'short' expansions, there the game has already a lot of content, old content counts too, people wantint always 'new', some of them are the real cancer of this game). You wan't new, open achievement window and go fetch those you didn't get yet, or mounts, or pets, toys, etc. I try to get those, but then a new expansion knocks on the door, hard to keep up...It is good to get new things, but at the rate some people want... this is one of the biggest game in the whole world, lots of 'content' to do, old and new.
What I think would be fresh is Mythic dungeon content that isn't tied to a timer for completion credit.

Dear Blizzard,Please add a reward system to mythic+, similar to rated arena PvP. This would include titles, a mount, and it's own transmog gear. Achieving something like Glad in mythic+ would feel so good as a competitive casual. Competitive Casual = Ex Cutting Edge raiders that have families and jobs now but miss playing competitively.Also, gearing in mythic+ is WAY slower than PvP and Raiding. Any chance we can increase the cap on weekly valor. I'm capped every week and I'm only 263. Most rated PvPers and mythic raiders that have played since 9.2 release are between 268 to 273.Anyways, if you read this, keep up the good work with the incoming changes and constant tuning.
Damn, I've been wishing for mythic wailing caverns forever.Maybe just as a one off tournament instakce....watch the high Keyers try to optimize a route.
Instead of reworking old dungeons...why not just put the teams that would be remaking them into making more modern dungeons...Honestly 10 dungeons at the start of an expac with a new one per big patch that synthesis with the new patch raid does not feel like to much to ask. All the time i'm hearing M+'ers saying I wish we had more than just these 8 dungeons to play...and I agree we want more dungeons not different old dungeons.I'm not the top of the line M+er I just hit 3k io last week. But i almost feel like you guys could setup an in game voting system to really hear what the players want...in game we would have to go and submit our 1x per account answer to somone in org or stormwind of if we want more dungeons at the start of launch or if we want old content to replay. I know my vote, and I can't tell you if i'm in the majority or not, but what I can tell you is i'm not alone with this feeling.For all the trolls on the internet....you would setup this voting system to not work on free accounts..and the player would have to have purchased the most recent expansion in order to vote, if you really want to buy 1 extra vote because you think it soley change the outcome of the debate...then all your doing is feeding this company more money which helps make the game better, so i wont complain.
reminds me of early cata when 5-man dungeons ran like a raid experience and allowed zero mistakes
M+ vendor for items and creation catalyst would make the game much more enjoying instead of mindless farm and bad rng.Also current system of limiting valor and asking for too much valor to upgrade some items, for example weapons (3000 valor for max ilvl), which takes 1 month for 1 weapon like 2handed definitely requires a rework and rethinking.
