The most epic drop I've ever had, is the Halbera of Desolation.... I had been wanting it for so long, as since I was a new hunter in the guild, I didn't get it. It didn't drop for 6 months, then finally it dropped for me, and I had to roll against someone else, he rolled a 91, and I was like...oh crap... I lost htis already.... then, when I rolled, I got a 92, it was so awsome, everyone was laughing over vent, and I was just sitting there, amazed XD
The most epic item I ever got... I would say it was when i got The Horseman's Blade (if you want to see it click here http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38175#dropped-by) it took my 15th time killing The Headless Horseman (if you like to see him click here http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=23682) I know from wowhead that I was lucky because it is a really rare drop from him. I can't wait till I'm high enuff to use it I'm really close to I'm level 68 warrior and that is the best weapon I have. Well that is my story and the last thing I believe I'll add is Have Fun Playing World of Warcaft.
It would have to be the Demise from Heigan the Unclean(10-man). Why? Because it was our guild's third attempt and most of us were still bad with his dance, so during the second phase we lost half of our group from the eruptions, all that remained was our tank, our paladin offtank, a priest, our marksman hunter and me the fury warrior. Heigan was only at around 50% at this time and our raid leader was about to call a whipe, but our tank told him to 'hold on.' Lo and behold, we were able to maneuver perfectly as we drained him slowly down. Our hunter blew over 1000 arrows in the end, and I fell at 14% of his HP remaining, but through sheer stubbornness and much cheering on vent, we withered him down to a corpse and I got my Demise. That was a good night.

Never change him to proto drake or some ugly mount , i will fly on it to end game :D
in the old days on my first character, a priest (around level 24). i was in duskwood, i opened a chest, and right in front of me there was Black Velvet Robes, my first random drop that was actually useful. i had seen in for an absurdly cheap price of 2g in the AH earlier that day, but by the time i had collected enough gold, it was gone.
My most epic loot is from a late season run of Kara with guildies. I was the noob, so I got all the epic drops, including Ritssyn's Lost Pendant, Talisman of Nightbane, and Nathrezim Mindblade. Still equip the Pendant and Mindblade upto lvl 75 of Wrath.
On my pally, the Leggings of the Forgotten Protector (not for pally) dropped for us the other night and jokingly I did a /roll and got a 99. Over vent I told the master looter I was joking and to give it to the shaman, but he gave it to me anyways. The shaman and I had a laugh. That was the most epic item I got, one that didn't belong to me. Felt so good.(a GM got the legplates over to the shaman so it's all good)
The most epic loot ive ever gotten and this is the only one was the Witches Band off the headless horseman which i got at lvl 42
The day I got my Winterspring Frostsaber mount was pretty nice. I'd been farming it for a while off and on, so I was pretty happy the day that I hit exalted with the Wintersaber Trainers.
My t2 chest on my warrior back in pre-BC. it was my first BWL item and obviously made me very happy!
