What was the most epic loot drop you've ever gotten?To date, I'd have to say the most epic drop I have seen, and won, was the Headless Horseman's Reins. I rolled a 95, and everyone else rolled in the 30's. I won this mount on the very second day of the event starting. That was pretty epic for me.

It was a crazy fight in Drak Keep against King Dred and i was on my hunter, our tank wiped and my being a MM/SV hunter had to get my pet to try to tank. Then it dies and the rest of the party begins to wipe while Dred is at 10k hp he starts coming after me (the last survivor), Heart of The Phoenix comes up( pet comes back to life instantly) and i feign to get the boss on my pet.... soon as my pet goes down i hit him with the final blow to win the fight, then i presume to revive people with my Goblin Cables =) Epic Battle!
Since the parrot didn't get me a card...Another pretty epic moment was Naxx10 almost a week ago. It was my first time in Naxxramas, I've never been there even before they took it out (heck, I wasn't even playing pre-BC!), and the first time MainTanking a WotLK raid, albeit a 10-man one. Was pretty excited needless to say.The downside, it was a PuG, with only 4 people from the same guild (the hosts), then 3 people from my guild (:D) and 3 random ones. Surprisingly, we did well enough - 2 wings downed in one night, albeit the countless wipes. No screaming in vent, no negative attitudes. And now the best part - out of the 6 bosses we did (Archanid and Plague Quarters), 4 dropped tanking gear, and I won whole 3 pieces that night - (one being a random BoP epic from trash). Waistguard of the Tutor, Plague-Impervious Sabatons, and and Medallion of the Disgraced. Epic night.
My favorite epic has been my Deathcharger's Reins that I finally got about 3 weeks into BC. I decided to run the place for the argent dawn rep and the beauty dropped on my 17th run making one of the guild's priest nearly cry. She had been farming the place for almost 2 years and after more then 600 runs has only seen the sword a handful of times. Long story short she refused to heal me the first few weeks of Kara and Gruuls ><;;
My most epic drop would have to be http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33820I did the fishing daily every day to get it, took over 120 tries.
I must say, I have been playing WoW for almost 3 years. I raided Black Temple and Mount Hyjal on my Priest and got some decent Epic Lewtz but last night was probably the best and most frantic for me. I have been kinda in a funk lately and got back into it last week and have been playing catch up. Last night, I hit 80 and was invited to a Naxx Group. I figured, Okay I'll be alright, the gear is lacking but I can handle it. We were already into the Plague Wing and when we got to Heigen, we wiped the first two times because people couldn't handle the running. Well third time around, we started to get it, after the second rotation we lost two of our healers and I was the only one left. So I solo healed 4 other people and downed him and I was shaking the whole time while the rest of the guildies sat silently in vent watching. After the down, everyone was singing my praises ... and I am the new owner of a nice shiny new pair of dancing shoes ... Saltarello Shoes Thats my epic story and I'm sticking to it!
My most epic drop was, after spending so much time in kara . I joined a guild that was in hyjal/bt progression. On my first run into hyjal I got my T6 gloves.
I'd have to say this was back in Vanilla WoW. I was playing on my druid and had a leveling warlock friend who would always go on about headmaster's charge from Scholo. We'll one day my guild wanted to run that and i came along as healer. I asked my buddy if he wanted to come and he declined saying that he'd lost hope that the staff would drop. It dropped. I won it. I flaunted it. I think he quit a bit after that. =(
Sadly i havent had much epic drops so i would have to say the most epic drop i have ever looted was http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34491 because the comments for this drop said to kill 6-7 Gordunni ogres and should take around 10 minutes. But i was a lvl 68 druid with flight form an took me aroud 45-50 kills ( no lie,im not exadurating ) i hated it lol. But in the end to me it was worth it : )
Farming for my little Azure Whelpling he's my favorite!
My most epic drop ever was my Captured Firefly. It took me over 900 kills to get it drop and I did it as a holy priest.
My most epic loot was in my first real raid in WotLK! I joined a group for the Horde cities, for the achievement and the Black War Bear mount. We were in TB in front of Cairne's hut, and suddenly he aggroed and people were dying in spectacular fashion. The raid leader was screaming, "Who's pet was that? Who sent their pet in?" There was dead silence when I said, "Uhh, there was a horde DK standing behind Cairne. He Death-gripped that pet in there." Then one lone voice..."That's F$@#ing brilliant." We all learned a new trick that day! And we got our mounts too!
My favorite epic drop would have to be the Guardian of Cenarius title coupled with my Tan Riding Talbuk, both awarded after long sessions of grinding.
