When i got my Nethrezim Mindblade it wasn't the fight that was epic, it was the crazy rolls! A mage and I tied the first roll, and I wasn't feeling to great about my chances. So I rolled again, and I rolled something in the 30's. I was pretty $%^&ed, but when the mage rolled, he tied me! So we rolled one last time and I beat him by like 50 points. =) I just vendored that dagger the other day </3
Back when i was main tanking Kara, most of the time i had another warrior or a pally Off tank for me. So as you can imagine, i lost quite a few rolls, and really the only 2 i was determined to get were the 2 drops from nightbane. Then, the only time i had a druid tank in about 6 months, both The Shield of Impenetrable Darkness and the Panzar'thar Breastplate dropped on the same night. That was honestly more exciting for me than the night i finished my T5 set >.<
My most epic day was once when I rolled 100 in need or greed for a whole day! That was 3 instance runs.epic amirite?
It was when my sinister squashling finally dropped. I had to kill the horseman over and over and over.Never saw the jerk's mount though.
After WotLK was released I made a Death Knight like (most) everyone else. After getting out of the starting area and getting to 60 I just had to play some AV to see how well things worked in a PvP environment. After several matches in a row of 16/40 (Alliance/Horde) I decided to put my foot down and make everyone listen."We need to summon Ivus if we want any chance of winning this match!"It too a few tries but eventually there were other people I was continuously in matches with that realized this was the way to go. We were pushed back, all the way back to the bridge and it seemed like we were going to lose until I turned in enough Storm Crystals to get the Druids moving. We then pushed forward with all of our healers on the Druids and pumping out as much AoE as we could. We finally managed to push all the way to the field of Strife! We began the summoning and finally, we summoned the Forest Lord.Things got a little hectic at this point. As it would seem, Death Knights were able to serious hurt Ivus and he was dropping fast. Every healing class we had available went into healing mode to keep him up. That is when the Gryphons arrived. The Horde had no chance after this new development and the Alliance finally broke a few day long loosing streak. The next match things were completely different as the Alliance had way more than the Horde and this continued throughout the next few days. This is what I consider an epic moment and I am proud to have taken part in it.
Well I would have to say my most epic one would be, Either when the sinister squashling dropped and I finally won the roll after a few times of losing it or when i went to the special event boss in KZ and got my arcanite ripper ^_^ I won the roll and the others were jealous.
