Already making changes that make them even more useless than they already were.
Apparently it’s too op and needs to be optimized to a downgrade. No more bis for this other than a few % increase on damage and stats that most likely won’t matter much now compared to what it did before. Crazy stuff, might as well just remove the bonus and be done with it tbh.

So, what's the point of a proc when it gives next to nothing?
360 Vers is garbage.

Comment by Yuckies

Why even add unique items like this if they're tuned for the dumpster?

Comment by Ekka

They took 350 intellect to give 56 haste in exchange. What a fricking joke.

Comment by Qwagsoir

So much for the only interesting caster raid weapon this expansion

Comment by Selendees

I don't understand such a careful approach to trinkets and special effect on gear from raids when tier set are all over the places...

It's only 360 vers for 20 seconds, then 40 seconds of nothing. Compare it to the static ~90 stats you'd get from another mainhand weapon, with a lot of other classes preferring those other stats over Vers anyways, and it's looking like a really sad weapon.

Comment by Marlendaa

its still not interesting wep also with No secondary stats and down time 40 Sec not to mentioned if it procced off cds .

Comment by IIArhasII

it's actually not that bad. yea. the intellect proc is reduced in quantity, multiplied by 7 AND we get the normal stats from the ring. where before you had a bigger chunk of intellect but almost no stats on the ring beside a little bit of haste. now we have 225 Haste + 74 Mastery at mythic level.

Comment by Dhrall

I guess you guys didn’t read the part where procs per minute changed from 3 to 20. It’s more consistent at least.

Comment by Stahlitz

It actually IS that bad. In its previous iteration, the anduin ring already had an uptime of 60%, not even considering the execute portion. The maximum possible uptime is 100%, so while the ppm are increased by 670%, its effectively just a 40% increase in total uptime, while the amount of primary stat is decreased by a whoopin 88%. Lets do a comparison including the secondary gains:

Anduin Ring at 278 used to give you 600 Int on average and 75 haste.

Now it gives you 100 Int on average, 75 Mastery and 225 Haste.

Considering the value of intellect being roughly twice as much as any secondary, the new iteration is a flat 60% nerf. And well, the execute/emergency proc increase is literally useless, since its up 100% of the time anyways. So the only way this *could* make sense is if the effect stacks. In that case, the average int gain per minute would stay at 600, which would in fact be a decent buff to the ring in the form of giving 225 secondaries on top of things. I highly doubt this, since whenever a trinket has a stacking or overlapping effect, its usually tooltipped to what extend its able to do so.

Comment by Greckiv

They really just went out of their way to make sure the first cool caster weapon in ages is made nigh useless before its even released. The ring nerfs seems pretty fair as they seemed insane before, but they really took the final weapon from the final raid of shadowlands and just turned it into a decent dagger, I guess.
