Sort of a buff to the severing slice. Most tanks sidestepped the ability completely. Looks like you can't dodge it anymore, similar to SoA first boss frontal that is now a targetted ability
unironically the most useless nerfs to SD I've ever seen, the gargoyle change might even be a buff if it makes it undodgeable through leaps/etcfor a start, why don't they fix the vestige of doubt's ground AOE ability instead
I agree with the HoA mob buffs, even if the timer is very tight in that dungeon, but how can they make that dungeon harder and elect not to buff the joke of a third "boss"? She's absurdly easy, does no damage and is in desperate need of a tuning pass.
I don't get why they have to remove the cone effect from Severing Slice. I mean it's extremely simple: Don't stand in front of the mob.
As a pwar, wicked bolt just melts me, every cast that does not gets kicked feels pretty much like 20% of my hp. I very much respect obliterators in HoA and I feel this change will just make HoA even more depressing to tank as pwar.
Blizz really just need to nerf the 2nd and 3rd bosses in SD and the instance is far more inline. The trash isn't too scary but by god it's so hard to heal the third boss in particular. You have so little time to recover from the massive AoE she does before she puts out another ability that applies a heavy dot and you cant stand still to heal and hten immediately after that you have a tank buster..
