Aint no way they finally added a wall for Ret, This is good progress!
Sadly the paladin talent tree has the most weak design among every class. All 3 specs literally gets nothing new (having a 3 min cd with blessing of spellwarding i dont call it even a barely addition) or changed, while many other classes received at least a medium rework in their design AND so many cool stuff in addition to what they have at moment. Non the less i think paladins need more option to chose from, specially in class tree so you can actually improve and personalize your gameplay
ret still seems like it'll be near-useless going into M+ again. very low damage on builders, finishers only do moderate damage

Come on, that's impossible to tell at this point. Blizz doesn't do numbers balancing until the very last stage before launch. Right now we're looking at talents and ability structure.
I still don't get why Divine Toll is included in all 3 spec trees, as a last roll even, instead of placing it in the class tree.. If they so much want us to all have it just move it there instead of just filling the space in the spec trees, And why is it the only covenant ability carrying forward? Where is vanquishing hammer or blessing of seasons for protection? I'd love to have some party buffs as a tank.

Looks alot better than the previous one (class and prot) in my opinion. Might still need some changes but i feel alot calmer for DF release and feel like they are listening to feedback.
Wow so many changes, ret doesnt need an overhaul like EVERY OTHER CLASS or anything, im glad to see NO new abilties for ret and an abundance of passive crap. Stop trying to make justicars vengeance work, it doesnt. Why is divine protection nerfed for ret only?
I don't mind the spec trees but the fact that the class tree has so much throughput kills even the illusion of choice. The class tree needs to drop some throughput and get more utility.

4 talent points dedicated to Divine Steed still is a joke.
I still don't like that retris will passively be using consecration all the time. It's going to break a lot of CCs in pvp and dungeons. Going to see that glowing aoe on the floor 100% of the time.
Just looking at this talent tree, at this stage, if ret dps doesn't blow everyone under the water, they'll go back to the usual bench.Nothing new and interesting talent added.
Rets will bring combat rezz now, so that is useful at least
When did JV have its cost reduced to 3 HP? Would that make it not entirely useless?
As someone who plays beta rn and tested different builds I’ll say that ret is not that bad , it feels pretty decent to me , it needs some adjustments but in general is not that bad , I only dislike the consecration in ret tree being so important
