The last best expansion. I don't think DF can repeat it's sucess but I hope in future they will deliver something similar... at least we can hope.
I miss this expansion. Hate that it was followed up by BFA and then Shadowlands.
Legion was gold, BFA was quit and Shadowlands was okay. M+ is good. I dont think DF will be another Legion but maybe the Expansion after it.
Oh Legion how I miss you dearly....
Loved Legion. Still enjoy SL but Legion was top tier.DF looks promising, at the very least as a needed reset
i looted my bis weapons 1 day of the expansion like a pro
I miss Legion so much ;-;Legion Classic when?
Hands down the best expansion I have ever played to its fullest until the end. The replayability due to the class halls, artifacts and mage tower was the best content I have seen in WoW. I quit BFA during the first raid and quit Shadowlands during the first raid as well (SL M+ was amazing) but Legion got me hooked until the end. Special place in my heart
Still remember launch night like it was 4 months ago. Damn time flies. Wish I had the free time like I did back then. Was fun to actually get a chance to see what all classes were with maxed artifacts. Fun times.
Had some much fun in this expansion, great raids, amazing lore/characters.
Legion was the last good expansion
For me, Legion is 2nd best expansion just a tiny bit behind WotLK being the best. And of course, one of the biggest reason is/was The Lich King / Arthas. If leaving nostalgia and heavy favoritism out of the count then Legion can easily take over WotLK simply with how many great features it had along with lots of Lore stuff tied in with Artifact Weapons and Class Hall quest lines. Also, the class/spec balance was probably at it's best (closest?).Too bad since Legion, it's been pretty much downhill only whether it was speedy and steep (BetaForAzeroth) or slow, bumpy and steadyish (SL).
I loved Legion, funny side note is I really remember the midnight release. I know blizz is really proud of the global release and I understand why it's probably a good thing... Still nothing like a midnight release and Legion had finally gotten (in my personal experience on Zul'Jin US) a seamless, lag free launch
Legion was pretty good, the only bad things were:- Artifact Power was spec-based and people were forced to play a single spec until very deep into the patch with catch-up mechanics. If you happened to dislike it at the beginning after spending AP, sad news for you, you lost a lot of time and progress. There are multiple specs people like enjoying, I didn't like the fact that I couldn't play both Discipline and Shadow for my liking or my raid because I didn't have the necessary level in my weapon to perform "well".- Gear was not meaningful at all in PvP because everything scaled up to a certain point at which ilvl would contribute to 0.01%ish to stats.- Legendaries RNG was REALLY bad. People were literally creating new characters just for it.
Class order halls remain the best lens of storytelling WoW has ever done. I don't know why they abandoned the concept. It brought back the feeling of having a home base with your class trainers and it was a great way to spotlight minor characters to push the bigger story forward. There were even subtle hints of player housing in some of the order halls, altho the concept was abandoned.I would be very happy if Class Order Halls were main fixture of every expansion going forward, they were legion's best evergreen feature that didn't go evergreen
Im still playing to this day but story of World of Warcraft ended for me with Legion. Legion had its own flaws but still i loved it, expansion i enjoyed most.
Great time to introduce a week long oportunity to obtain the legion artifact mage tower appearances on the aniversary.
