No blue tint for the set :( , but great questline and hope to see more race specific quests in the future.
Maiev is buggy on the questline and keeps pointing at the lanterns to extinguish even after you did them.Beyond that it's a good questline and the armor set looks a lot better ingame.
This questline has the most aggravating escort quest in the game and makes Maiev even more unlikeable, something I didn't think was possible. To summarize the questline: Night Elves want their society to evolve, something they already stated in Cata when they welcomed Mages back into their fold. It's a pretty forgettable questline besides the escort being awful.Shame, Night Elves really deserved a win here, but I think they should have waited and done something once Amirdrassil is in the world and done Draenei heritage instead with the questline we're getting next week but whatever, it's done now. Just thought it'd be more memorable.
Come on, no aditional tints... why did they chose the most boring colors for the heritage armor released to the players? At least add a blue goldntint for the alliance pride and other nelf recolors... at least copypaste the colors from bfa retints.
So, no glaives for all Night Elves? Shame on you, Blizzard!
It was so disappointing, and the fact that we didn't get the white and blue tint makes it even worse. :-(
So is the Glaive only for Demon hunter's or does it work for all classes? Shame Hunters only use 2 handers so we can't use a glaive.
Why on Earth are we worrying about Felwood when Darkshore and Ashenvale are right there suffering from the war? Why does Blizzard insist on writing and focusing childish Night Elf characters we can't relate to because Night Elves as a whole are meant to be tremendously old and lack even child models for exactly that lore reason? Why divest focus from the plenty of existing characters whose status we've been wondering about? Also Blizzard making a special tattoo quest to usher in them destroying existing night elf tattoos and adding the pixelated abominations they call back tattoos is like this funniest thing I've ever seen. And by funny I mean shameful.
A shame the other tint is going to rot away in storage with the rest of the datamined tints some other races have.
So do we have a direct Translation of Ama'Shan? Thero'Shan was honored Student.
One singular cool moment in the questline, and only one tint to the xmog set. Nelves lose again.
Why is retail so gross, and the music horibad as well
Not the datamined white shade, great shameBut above all, no glaives as a reward? I was expecting different glaives skins available for all classes. From "Classic" skins (which the guards have always had) to more recent ones. Many night elves are adept at wielding the moonglaive, including priestesses
So the title is made up on the spot and we don't even quite know what it means? Rather that just.... Giving us an existing Night Elf title we've wanted like Sentinel?
So only one tint, and the armor was designed to basically show as much skin as possible. I’m not sure why I was expecting something higher quality, as Blizzard hates Night Elves. Night Elves haven’t received anything good for a very long time now.
The armor set looks way better in the game than it does in the screen shots, but I am massively disappointed the only three Night Elf classes who are going to get actual use out of the Warglaives are Combat Rogues, Demon Hunters, and Frost Death Knights. Casters who can equip swords never draw their weapon for any of their animations, so the warglaives remain hidden while sheathed. Hunters and Warriors use two-handed weapons (technically Warriors can use Single-Minded Fury, but that talent will never be competitive with Titan's Grip). Surely they could have made a back-transmog Warglaive for casters or two-handed weapon users, since it looks like this set comes with no cloak. Like, come on Blizzard. In this day and age it is not that hard to make sure all of your players feel included.
