So now they've given the most popular Horde race to Alliance players while Nightborne remain half-arsed emaciated Night Elves with no customization. Cool. Cool.
Shouldn't have even gotten this. They're void elves, they're supposed to be pale (like the pale orcs on Draenor). Now they're blood elves with spooky hair.
Void elfs are almost indistinguishable from blood elfs, the fact that they don't wear some purple/blueish undies with with cups makes it so obvious. First time I saw them having same underwear was about 2 months ago, it is a lot of time to make adjustments and no, it isn't hard in slightest bit.
I personally think they should remove a couple of the red tones and leave them exclusive to blood elves. all roundp though i like this change
the majority of this crack squad team are blood elves and they are working in the liberation of Silvermoon from the clutches of the Horde. An even smaller percentile of these void elves are former silver convenant high elves.
TBH I'm pretty sure the Death Knight skins are just for DK's since Void Elf DK's currently don't have that on live servers.Still holding out hope for undead skins for Blood Elves to look like Dark Rangers. They'd be so cool and it'd be fun and make people happy. DON'T BE NEEDLESSLY STUBBORN BLIZZ
I honestly think they look TOO MUCH like Bloodelves.Dont get me wrong, i dont "mind" their new skintones. Sure "Humanoid" looking races fits better with pink/brown colours imo and i do think blue colours should shift in gray//blue/purple scales on the colourwheel. But! If it makes people happy then why not.Hovewer....I wish they would atleast keep something to tell them apart. Like having void-coloured arms and/or legs. Or maybe Voidblooded veins. Or just a different shape on the long ears? Just something to tell us that they are 2 different races. Yes both are mutaded forms of the almost extinct Highelf but they still have different cultures and racials. Its IMO ofc but they look too much alike.
The super light blue frosty skin tone would really work well for a frost mage!
Ok now let me make a Void Paladin and we'll be ok
I may or may not have a pretty strong opinion on this. While I agree the more options the better, let's not forget that Blood Elves and Void Elves are still meant to be different playable races, and because of that I believe that some uniqueness should be preserved. I know that Void Elves aren't exactly what part of the playerbase wanted, but they do have potential and I would love to see them being developed as their own thing. First the eyes, now the skintones, and people are crying for blonde hair next... At what point do we draw the line? You guys are nagging for literal copies of (upgraded) Blood Elves for the opposite faction... and on top of that the Horde is getting nothing in return. Also stop demanding Void Elf Paladin, that makes ZERO sense. Void-touched elves can never wield the Light, heck, Alleria almost destroyed the Sunwell by just being close to it, and she and Turalyon cannot even touch each other! Again, you're literally asking for an "Alliance Blood Elf". I'm not gonna argue with anyone, but these are my thoughts and I doubt anything will change them.On a more positive note, the darker skintones actually look great with the purple and darker teal hair. I personally don't mind most of these skin options, I might even use some of them on my Velves, but I do think that some should remain Belf-exclusive (the more reddish ones for instance).
I'm so excited, I loved BE from the start and VE were a nice addition but even though their pale/blue skin made senses, I secretely missed the warm skintones BE had :)
Where is that void elves or high elves with blond hair and paladins, I'm waiting for a lot of years and nothing. But in the horde, Tauren and trolls can be paladins, undead can be priest, all for the horde. I knew that Blizzard is the side of the horde, but can be balance in some points.
Really hope the Nightborne get this treatment that the Void Elves are getting. Mostly because they really need the extra customization options.
