New Tyrande Cinematic - Power of Night Covenant Campaign Chapter (Spoilers)

Posted 2021/07/27 at 10:57 AM by perculia

In Chapter 7 - The Power of the Night, you help Huln Highmountain track down and recruit two former Night Warriors - Khaliiq from Maldraxxus, and The Stonewright from Revendreth - to help with a ritual for Tyrande Whisperwind. Thankfully, the ritual is successful. Tyrande Whisperwind is saved from being overcome with the power of the Night Warrior, and you learn that Elune is the Winter Queen's sister. What's more, Elune leaves behind The Sisters' Tear, which becomes the new sigil of Ardenweald.

Lady Moonberry says: The force Tyrande wields threatens to consume her... and will leave this grove devastated!
Lady Moonberry says: My Queen! We need your help!
Winter Queen says: My sister's power... in my forest? I will have answers!

Shandris Feathermoon: Mother... Is it you?
Tyrande Whisperwind: I am myself again.
Shandris Feathermoon: What I have seen this day, I can scarcely believe.
Tyrande Whisperwind: I was present for every moment, and yet... outside myself. As much of a witness as you were.
Shandris Feathermoon: So much beauty in her voice. And sorrow as well. The tear...
Tyrande Whisperwind: Was much as mine as hers.
Shandris Feathermoon: The Winter Queen spoke of a purpose for the souls of our people. What did she mean?
Tyrande Whisperwind: That, Elune did not tell me, daughter. Not yet.

Oh damn! <3

Tyrande tried to choke a zombie instead of using the bladed weapons she was holding... Sylvanas didn't realise that Lord Traitor The Evil was going to betray her... Elune didn't realise that by not saving a bunch of people they'd go straight to hell...
A lot of the plot of this expansion seems to hinge on the characters in it just not being very smart or aware of anything that's happening to them or around them huh?

so is the bloodlust and revenge gone. i wonder now how she will do and say before sylvannas after learning what happened to her.

Yeah puzzled me as well, since was perfectly aware what was going on in azeroth, however, she did not see the tragedy what happened with the flow of souls and the tree sigil being destroyed (and their souls claimed).
slightly confused by all this, waiting for bellular and nog to clear it all up lmao :D

lol Sorry WHAT? how does this make any sense? she knew the night fea needed anima but didnt know about all souls going to the maw? did she make silvasnas do it? this answers nothing!

What is even happening lol?

Comment by Nymrohd

OK, when do we get to kill Elune?

I mean they were right, Elune literally abandoned them.

This is what Sylvanas was talking about, the "gods" do not care for us, we are but playthings

Comment by ImDarZ

This didn't even have to be a cinematic, this could have literally just been voice acted in-game. What a disappointment.

Comment by whate4

And just like that they found an excuse for what Sylvanas did to the tree. Guess she can be fully redeemed now.

Comment by AgiotaRural

Yeah, it was obvious what's going to happen, since the Primus said the sigils can be remade: we are going to make new ones, of course.

Comment by ablock

In traditional Blizzard fashion, they still have to keep things shrouded in mystery even upon reveal. Yawn.

Hey Tyrande i let your people burn to be used as mulch for Ardenweald.

Why does it seem like all the story in wow since BFA is pushed forward by characters who should be smarter just being idiots?

It's more like, she could have saved them and she chose to let them all burn to death.

to answer the first question, how would she know about the souls going into the maw? she only heard the WQ asking for anima.

So... she let the Night Elves die to help the shadowlands? lol.

my interpretation of that wasnt so much that she let them die but more that she was (TRYING TO) sending them to ardenweald directly aka she wasnt letting them die but she was trying to direct where they would end up

Eh, they are night elves, the majority of them would end up in Ardenweald. Tyrande and others just could not understand why Elune abandoned them to that fate. Turns out, she did abandon them to that fate. It's not that she could not act, it was convenient for her.

So somehow Elune KNEW that Ardenweald was facing an anima drought but did NOT know that all souls were going into the Maw.(##RESPBREAK##)396##DELIM##Buuloki##DELIM## Partially removed. Please don't use sexist comments/language.
