They need to tone down on the boring voice modulation and get better cast VA's like they did with Bwonsamdi. In beta he had the same heavy modulation but they turned it off because the VA did such a stellar job.
It has never been confirmed that the Jailer is the final boss. Please stop saying that. When asked about it, Ion said "That story will wend its way through all of Shadowlands and our content updates, until we ultimately do get a chance to face the Jailer". Are you just intentionally misrepresenting what he said? The quote is from your site...
Idk, if the Jailer was some skeleton or a lich, it would be hundred times more cliche. He's clearly not a generic undead, and his appearance is meant to reflect some lore, I suppose.
Another deep, growling voice to indicate Evil Powerful Guy. So bored of these cliches. No doubt there are a few sarcastic female voices down the line to indicate Evil Woman.
"And so great Odyn conceived the Val'kyr".Translation: Odyn asked for volunteers to spend eternity in undead agony to enslave the souls of the dead for him. When no one was interested in eternal torment, he was outraged and murdered his daughter Helya then enslaved her as the first Val'kyr.
he sounds like somekind of protoss.
Jailer sounds like he is Shang Tsung from Mortal Kombat with "Your Soul is MINE"
I'm pretty sure the Bwom quote is unrelated to Sylvanas and Helya's encounter in Legion, their deal was pretty self explanatory back then (Sylvanas weakens the Val'kyr's by interrupting their trials and enslaving their leader Eyir who transforms them in death, weakens Odyn's forces and gave Sylvanas a means to produce more of her own Val'kyr) but what we didn't get was the repercussions if she failed. Helya likely just got a new offer for revenge by agreeing to work with Jailer, after all her underworld was still working all fine and dandy. As for Mueh'zala being the guy who was totally behind everything all along guise, eh it's not that exciting a development. It's just more of let's ground this character's introduction into the game by linking him to things we stated happened before but lacked any hints of him being related in the first place. I mean who for a second believed the loa of the Sandfury Trolls was even involved in Legion until Shadowlands said so?Also could the Jailer be anymore generic gruff villain man?
