Back in the day "everyone" was using one particular mount because it could walk on water, and Blizzard didn't like that, because they felt people were minmaxing what mount they used, so they added mount equipment.

also, months before lemix released when all the rewards were datamined, we saw that the midnight/4 horsemen mount recolors had flying. everyone, myself included, was stoked. months later, within a day of it coming to live and having the weirdest flying animation, they were patched to simply be ground mounts.

I'm confused on what's unique about it?
