Going to see a lot of rage this week on LFR... can't wait :)
Bursting and Skittish are quite easy. Obligated to take small groups so you don't kill yourself and easier to handle thread for tanks.

This means that you can start farming the mekkatorque mount in LFR so enjoy having people leave in droves after the first boss.

I wonder if they don't just make the mechanics super easy or cut the hard ones though. It's lfr after all.

How about new races

How about new races

8.1.5, most people reckoned it'd be around the time the last LFR wing opened

I don't believe it drops in LFR.

Almost every boss that drops a mount in a raid, doesn't do it in LFR.

Mekkatorque on lfr.......I....can't wait...... /facepalm

Also if you check your in-game journal you'll see that the mount does indeed drop in lfr

Comment by offspinner

The thing about LFR for casuals gearing up is that it's largely (if not completely) obsolete now.

So for people getting their jollies from HUR DUR LFR WIPE! prepare to be disappointed. LFR still serves a (useful) purpose to see the content, but other than that there's no reason for the casual community to step foot into a raid now.

Comment by kragragh

How so? Where is equivalent gear from that’s...easier? I’m not sure your point. I think they’ve even said the main reason for LFR is to get more people seeing the content.

Comment by 1945199

It's weird to me that more of the void elves don't turn into blood elves, but oh well.

The mount does drop in LFR. So, start farming!

Thank you for the race and class chart! LFR is how I get my small dose of lore and I'm looking forward to this week.

Tell that to blizzard then since it does in the dungeon journal.

And the last two non-mythic exclusive mounts (tos snake and hounds mount) did drop from LFR so that is a weird assumption to make from you.

I don't really farm mounts, and the only mounts I've ever taken a look at in raids are the mythic-exclusive mounts.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I guess I was mistaken.

Having said that, I don't really foresee people dropping out of the raid immediately after beating Gelbin as a frequent thing. I did the first wing of the Argus raid often enough, and I raid rarely fell apart after the hounds. (Then again, were the hounds the last boss of that wing? I don't remember)

It was High Command. Many people kept leaving after hounds were dealt with, and I bet the same freaking thing happens here.

eh, since LFR is still flex, so long as we have two tanks and at least 3 or 4 healers, the raid can still continue with what's left.

Also, I guess anecdotal evidence is anecdotal. In my personal experience, I rarely saw the group fall apart after the hounds were dealt with in LFR. And I did it often enough. (Though it helps that I always tank, so as long as just one tank joins in, we can just keep going)

Comment by Luckystar

It does, it's on the loot table.
