The only thing missing now is a "attack that" button, so that they stop ignoring your focus target

They do...kind of . Bliz implemented a kind of "focus this group of enemies" type thing with the curses.

Only problem is, either everything on screen is cursed or you play cursed aura or minions curse on attack.

oh yes wow after 6 years they finally make it true yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
Great work ! They prolly hired a real human for it to come true

This issue was especially irritating when facing off against new Lair Bosses, where every mistake is punished by having to resummon all minions before trying again.

That was never an issue. Your minions are instantly re-summoned on entering the boss arena if you died. The issue was they were never re-summoned if you just died in the open world which was nothing more but an annoyance, not a super big deal.
