Now this is outrageous... I barely got any loot from 5 possible-drops and bonus rolls, now my loot is gated even behind more things, wow... 3 pieces of loot for 20 people? That's horrendous. Can't wait to be even more pi$$ed when I finally get some loot from raid boss, and it's gonna be the gloves slot that I just got from weekly vault earlier that day :)
Hmm my guild is looking to get into mythic, this is going to be a bit annoying for gear. Just hope people do their chores outside the raid so that we can shuffle loot around as needed.

The number of drops here is slightly low, but not really the core problem from my perspective. The problem is them still being stubborn about allowing Master Looter in Mythic guild groups to go along with this change.It's insane to have "personal loot" that isn't actually personal, but biased and restricted based on the raid... combined with having far fewer drops, less ability to trade them, and no way to make sure the loot allocation ends up being fair across the raid as a whole.This isn't personal loot if the random chance/bad luck protection isn't actually personal. Restricting the drops means some artificial system in the background for either prioritizing certain players or totally ignoring BLP entirely. It both breaks the personal loot system in half while also being far too restrictive in the context of how to make the best out of so few drops like guilds did in older xpacs. There is also a pretty decent chance it will either be broken (BLP not working) or can be gamed by biasing the BLP values of various people in the raid comp in a degenerate way.In essence, what this does is turn Mythic into "group loot with automatic need rolls," which is so unbelievably terrible feeling when this few items will be dropping. Big miss from my perspective as someone who has raided and done guild leadership since vanilla. Just a recipe for frustration and bad feels. This is basically the worst possible loot system for mythic guilds.
Shouldn't make much of a difference for WF race, they're mostly HC geared and no doubt they'll be doing a ton of split raids and whatever else possible to get as high geared as poss as they have always done in the pastWF raiding always been more about raid coordination, min maxing on classes to handle certain mechanics its always be about being more strategic as a group than being well geared, gear just helps slightly but its not a priority.
Okay, so I like less loot but without master loot, this is going to cause the same level of frustration as RNG through titanforging. There will be players who get more loot that others in a week and they will be stronger relative to other people. And when raid spots are limited you have to take the stronger players because you need to have enough damage to kill bosses.
Let us not forget that at least one of our slots will be a legendary the entirety of the expansion....probably 2 in the later half of the expansion so those are 2 slots we wont have to worry about.
Looks to me more like trying to keep players playing by giving them less loot so they have to raid more.
In BFA if you had the choice between 45 items and 27 titan forged items, you'd always take the TF items.Also since we're talking about bonus rolls, it is 47 pieces of titan forged loot in SL since the weekly chest replaces bonus rolls.Unclear if wowhead is catering to the low IQ folks with this obvious bait or just confused...
