More Nerfs Coming for Sepulcher Bosses Soon Due to AoTC and CE Being Removed on August 2nd

Blizzard

Yes, we intend to close the current raiding tier for achievements such as Ahead of the Curve with the weekly reset the week of August 2.

We have additional tuning in the works, with a focus on the end encounters of Sepulcher. We know that currently far fewer guilds are on track to get Cutting Edge in particular than in past tiers and we want to address that in the coming weeks, before Season 3 ends.

i think the inferred meta of forcing players into pushing both mythic raiding AND m plus to be competitive really backfired. most people dont have the time, energy, or interest to do that. not to mention there is almost nothing else to do in the game. you get bored of the new zone in like a month tops.

Glad I bought my AotC mount last week then, cause I don't have the time to get them with a guild.

Lol gonna guess we are only going to have 4 (remember 3 raid per each) fated cycles. October 25 prepatch. 12 weeks of m+ affixes. 4 week of total prepatch (2 week event). Nov 21/22 launch. Dec 6 raid/season/pvp start with mythic raid Dec 13.

Sort of bummed we aren’t going to get as long a time they inferred (even though they said it would be short).

Comment by Toupyga

why are you feeling pushed into mythic raiding and M+? Asking out of curiosity

I'm pretty sure they confirmed mount will be staying until DF launch so you could have waited a bit and saved some gold. I expect the prices to drop below 50k during season 4.

Neat, I hope they make Jailer really easy so I can finally get the Cutting Edge I deserve.

Could be December DF launch with DF season 1 starting in January.

Aotc mounts are tied to the achievement and usually go away when the achievement goes away. CE mount is tied to the boss kill and will be around till DF

Clownfiesta of a tier, ending in a clownfiesta ending. Fitting.

Comment by chomusuke

These nerfs better be HUGE and absolutely destroy these bosses. This tier had the slowest start, some of the highest pullcounts, and now it's cut short. We're a 6 hour guild on Rygelon right now and have almost no hope of CE after getting CE in 7 other tiers consecutively.

You can get curve easily with pugs ...

wouldn't call doing 15s for vault as pushing tbh, especially this season

Comment by Markov41

They could just not remove CE in S4 and let us have the same challenge the raiders who raid more often got to play against. Idk why they're trying to rush everyone into a season nobody wanted.

I wish there weren't so much stuff that was unobtainable after a season like mounts and pvp transmogs, etc. These are things I would genuinely enjoy going back to get later on. It both creates too much to do and a shortage of stuff to do

Comment by TOMRUS

With only 4 weeks left those nerfs should be absolutely massive like 30%+ on everything (damage, health etc).

Imo they should just keep season 3 AOTC/CE going into season 4.

Also "coming weeks" for additional nerfs is way too late considering only 4 weeks left... Nerfs should be done as late as today.(##RESPBREAK##)272##DELIM##TOMRUS##DELIM##

Why? If you can't clear the content then you can't clear the content. Have fun with the progression you made or set your goals in one of the lower difficulties.

Doubt you Mythic raid. Guilds that between prog/heroic/keys and such expect roughly 30 hours a week from players are JUST now getting CE. People have lives, if you need to treat the game as a literally job to complete a tier in time that is NOT ok.

Or Blizzard should not randomly cut 3 months from a hardest ever raid season...
