I'm going to be honest, just calling something "god comp" and not defining what you mean is really annoying. I still don't know what you're referring to.
youre better off tbh.
just sweaty nerds being sweaty nerds in mythic+.

They're not giving Blizzard a monopoly. They just don't know how to do it. The way Blizzard has done it is still by far the best way to do it even with its problems. You seem to lack the understanding at what it technically requires the devs to do for other mmo's. Along side that, WoW evolved to this form of content. Take an other MMO and try and shove an infinite scaling dungeon system in it and they will all suffer. Imitation is the best compliment but when done wrong, it'll backfire.
Look at all the other available MMO's and tell me they're suited for such a system with a straight face.
Also, it's cheap trying to blame it on the devs when 90% of the time devs have very little say in what they make. They make what their told to make by product and management teams.
All this being said, just stop playing WoW if you don't like it. Go play FF14 and be a catgirl instead. The only way to speak volumes is with your wallet, so stop paying for the sub and uninstall the game. whining and crying on forums about it doesnt do anything so do yourself a favour and stop mentally torturing yourself, just play something else.
Really, they don't know how to do it? Really? Its just damage and hp scaling. I'm not oblivious to it being more involved than that to implement as a solid gameplay feature, but its something that could be planned in an expansion, just like it was in wow. The issue is very unlikely to be technical, but more to do with the game's identity, not wanting to be too much of a wow clone etc.
And yeah, I can look at other MMOs and say they are suited for this system, like SWTOR, that game is dead on the arrival of its endgame, something like M+ would actually make it worth playing. As it stands, its practically a single player story game. Loads of the dungeons even on their highest difficulty are too easy and people just farm the crap out of them until they get max ilvl and, then what?
I never actually blamed the devs, idk why you think I did. I just said "blizzard", and I am talking about their management mostly.
Stop saying "stop playing wow", its annoying. I'm allowed to criticise it, and until something better comes out, I still prefer it to the others. That kind of comment is just pointless, if I was going to play something else I already would be, thats kind of the point, there is nothing else. But that doesn't mean wow is as good as it could be. And you think there is no point in whining, yes there is, it feels good, better than bottling everything up inside forever. Also blizzard has improved on some things due to whining. If no one ever whined, you can't really expect things to just magically improve.

Sorry for the noob question but...
'THE HECK IS GOD COMP? And what does it entail so that being nerfed is an issue?
This... a lot of these "issues" feel so niche that they are of absolutely - OK, pretty much - no relevance to the wider community/player base.
Maybe time for "PvP only" or "M+ only" sub-sections for the site, so those with no skin in that aspect of the game can filter them out, completely.
The existence of "God- comp" just seems to be an 'active exclusion' state of affairs... but maybe that's only me.
All. That. Said.
Replying to this will be academic &/or pointless - by way of discussion - until such time as Wowhead implements a 'notification of reply' solution...
OK, I pretty much "replied to someone who will probably never see this", but that doesn't mean I can't contribute... or does it?
Your reply was more dismissive than enlightening but I already saw the reply from the previous mate.
As for the notifications, yes, unless you come back to this article's comment section, you will never know that I read your reply...

Honestly if someone can come out with a game like WoW, but design and balance it competently, so many people would jump ship. I mean theres no patent on M+, I don't know why there aren't any other MMOs that do it, especially after all this time. I mean seriously, just one. I'm kind of sick of other MMOs giving blizzard this monopoly, like I don't even know any other areas of business where some company or product is allowed to have an easily duplicated idea to themselves for SO long, its been like 7 years now ffs.
At its core, wow is a great game, but it seems blizz are obsessed with ruining it. They don't look like they're going to stop any time soon.
Even if FF14 were to revamp itself, get rid of the ridiculous story requirements and make it optional, and introduce M+... that would kill wow dead. It'd be so dead. I really am at a loss to why they don't, at this point its like rescuing people from a ship going down, they actually want to jump ship, unless they hate cat girls they're guaranteed customers.
You seem to think any game can kill WoW. It doesn't matter how awesome any game may be, WoW will still be there and strong in numbers. Even when at its lowest moments, it's just getting ready to get better in due time. so, no, FF14 can't kill WoW. They're different "markets" anyway.
Now, Microsoft can kill WoW. Lets hope it doesn't...
