Maybe I was spoiled by the EXP buff we just had but I leveled five characters to max level in a trivially low amount of time. I didn't finish a single Threads of Fate quest, either, because the timewalking dungeons were what I used.Does leveling really suck peoples' time? Just don't do it after your main, then.
Didn't think we'd already be seeing an XP nerf...
A change or just a change for the Alpha, there is no indication this is going to go live.
Just give use our EXP % on our heirloom gear and you wouldn't have had to do this to begin with. Glad to see it will take less time, but it could have been avoided if they never removes xp buff from heirlooms, which was the entire point of the items to begin with.
39-50 look weird, you need lees exp than the previous levels, it need some changes like at least redistribute it evenly... from a player perspective is weird that you need more exp from 38 to 39 than 39 to 40, likely will confuse new players and surely some will think is a bug... the easier fix is just redistribute it in a way that at least you need 20 more exp than the previous level or show the total acumulated exp and not the "need for level up" than we have now
Whoa, nice
I wish they'd remove the Chromie time penalty when you hit the current expansion level if you've already done all the expansion. I was leveling up allied races in Legion and found out the hard way you don't want to stick around after reaching 50. Quest XP went from almost 20k per (with the 50% bonus) to 200. Talk about slamming into a brick wall. I would have liked to have finished out the zone instead of going back to doing the repetitive last ten levels, but I wanted to finish leveling sometime this century. The other thing they need to do is clean up their skip mechanisms. Shadowlands skipping is a complete mess and hard to figure out - some things you have to do while others you get to skip. I feel like Chromie could be the one stop shopping center for all expansion skips - I would love to unlock Legion or BfA on alts without having to remember what has to happen in order to get the teleporter to Argus or get the mission table in BfA or the mounts in the Maw (which should just be account wide imo). With the faster leveling I could probably just run through unlocking everything as I go - assuming I remember how! :PI like the lowering of xp between 30-50 since that's when it started to feel like it was dragging even with the xp bonus.
Next they should add the option to turn level scaling off in old zones.
Bad, This needs to be fixed. The XP should be 200% or a lot higher!By requiring less XP, more players are skipping content and quests. They hit a level and just move on, rather than actually finishing content and storylines. Stop the easy mode. Yes, you want players to rush from BFA to Shadowlands or BFA to Dragonflight, but it makes their characters worse by not experiencing at least some of the older expansions. We need to force people to SLOW DOWN.Look at what happens when we do not? We have never needed an XP increase in the history of WOW. Players are fine with how things are, but the crybaby impatient players cry when they cannot gain ten levels in under an hour. Its ridiculous.WOW is not a console game! WOW is an MMORPG meant to be played OVER TIME, not to rush through in one sitting.Blizzard, stop listening to the rushers and get feedback from the MAJORITY of players that do not want to rush.
Good. More incentive to level alts (especially when you have damn near account limit, like me, lol).
