There are many many many more items that have very poor droprates. Whoever decided on this change is ignoring ALOT more important problems in the game. Either make it so he spawns every 15-30 mins, or make the mount drop chance almost 100% for at least 1 person.

As it stands now, he has the worst of both worlds: long wait time for no payoff.

Buffing the drop rate of something with zero impact on player power level probably took all of 5 minutes of discussion and 2 minutes of work to go in and change the drop percentage in the code. As such, it took next to no resources away from addressing other problems in the game. I agree that BfA has had (and continues to have) a number of issues, but jumping on something that's a positive for players and takes very little time and effort from Blizzard just makes you look foolish and weakens your argument. And what's worse, it adds to the narrative that players are being unreasonable and only serves to justify Blizzard when they ignore player comments.Do I need to list examples of them communicating to players? They communicate to us as often as they can... yeah, they could do better but it's not at the level you're saying it's at.Comment by KelrasThere are indeed some other rares that could use some adjusting. Soundless comes to the forefront, even as somebody who got Silent Glider at a merciful 184 tries. It's an 8hr respawn rare and I know people with 400-600 to even beyond that amount in tries. That's depressing, and I hope they consider changing that. He's probably the worst mount dropping rare I can think of, being a combination of two daunting elements that are usually separate.

Right back on topic, though, as somebody with 400ish tries on Corpse Eater, I'm happy about this buff. There are literally items from the same patch, same zones with the same or worse droprates. Why not fix those? Why dont they explain how they decided on these 2 items? Why dont they explain why other items arent getting the same attention? There is ZERO communication. Its all completely random, as far as we can see.
