I get them trying to explain away the new centaur. However, that still seems like a lazy retcon.
Those abs on the Tuskarr, damn
"Nozdormu also clearly knows about them as the Dragonflight Legacies animated shorts show him speaking with Scalecommander Emberthal - though we suppose he could have learned about her existence more recently."I think that entire thing is played out after Dracthyr wakes up. Therefor after he is being seen talking to them in the Dracthyr intro questline. You can see dragons of all aspects flying to the Forbidden Reach and that most likely doesn't happen until after the events of the questline since you only see Black Dragons and Nozdormu in the intro questline. So it's very possible he knew nothing about them until they woke up.
"Dragons are to Protodragons as Drakonid are to Tarasek"Even more reason for us to have gotten Chad Drakonids instead of Dracthyr. This just saddens me even more.
That Tuskar spent all their time catching fish by hands/arms and then eating that fish nonstop, all at the same time! 😮
Merithra was done dirty so badly 😭😭😭
Honestly half wish they'd just ignored the Centaur thing and hoped people would forget like with the Nerubian / Scourge / Maldraxxus architecture.Having a bad in-lore explination feels worse than the writers just forgetting to double check old lore and leaving it as is.
So the Ruby Life Pools is where Dragons go to baptize their eggs. Neat.
I just love the fact that Danuser is stuck on this mentality of looking at the old lore, let's say the Centaurs in this case, doing the exact same idea, and then going, "BUT CANONICALLY OUR THING CAME FIRST IN THE STORY" that he's done many times over already in the short time he's been writing Warcraft. It's so weirdly childish. It's like something I'd remember a kid in 7th grade doing.
Far be it from me to dislike the artbook because it's amazing, BUT. I miss the artists' commentary on what inspired them to do certain designs, how they went through several iterations until they settled for what we're seeing now, and such. You know, what an artbook usually includes. Putting lore in it is cool, but that makes it feel like this is a Collector's Edition exclusive 'Chronicles' tome.
Zaddy Wrathion could 100% get these cheeks.
Zaetar's Grave is an area of Maraudon, Zaetar's Spirit can be found there after you kill Princess Theradras.
The last image needs to be blurred/marked NSFW, Dracythr nudity! Come on wowhead!/s because I know some dingus will read that sentence and smash the keyboard with an angry reply. Great article thanks for posting!
