I loved this so much! thank you!
Hype!We see the Jailer perhaps as evil; but is he not just doing what other cosmic powers have been doing? He's promoting Death, and we (as mortals) attribute to that power a negative affect. But what about the Titans? They exist as paragons of Order over everything. We've seen the Titans as "good"; but we should fear Algalon's words: He has seen world burned in the maker's fire. Imperfection leads to destruction by the forces of Order. The same for the Light, which we got a taste of through the Mag'har scenario. Life's power unleashed can be seen in Draenor. Each of the six forces have their zealots - and the Jailer leads the zealots of Death, with plans to upend the balance of the powers. But I would expect that the others have plots and plans of their own; some of which are whispered in the lie-truths of the Void.
Woah, this was an amazing read and the images are beautiful. This makes me even more excited for Shadowlands. I can't wait!
man if the nathrezim don't end up being the big baddies of warcraft's universe I'm gonna be disappointed, what they're doing with the jailer just shows how big their scheme could become
Is that an alt version / evil version of the Lordaeon throne room in the picture about the helm & veil ? :O
Man they're really gonna have to pull some M Night Shymalan twist to make The Jailer and Sylvanas the good guys in this scenario.
So I take it that reforging the helm of domination is the the easiest most likely way to repair the rift bewtween Azeroth and the Shadowlands.
I bet by now Arthas has probably been broken by Zovaal, so I'm hoping either we face him one last time or we see him get epically smacked down by a Jaina/Thrall tag team.
An Unknown Voice: "You are a pawn of forces unseen."It was always hinted from the Old Gods.Il'gynoth:"From the earth, he draws our strength. Our earth, our strength." "The cunning ones kneel before six masters, but serve only one"N'zoth:"The fall of night reveals her true face. She will bring only ruin.""When the arrow finds its mark, the last fetter will fall away.""Six seats at the high table. Six mouths that hunger. One will consume all others.""The veil wanes. His crown will open the way.""It grows hungrier… Bolder. Alas, your eyes are closed"
What is more interesting is if this lore is communicated in-game, or if we have to read books and watch youtubevideos to know what the game is about.
So, it turns out that Sylvanas wanted to kill us in BfA, just to make us her and Jailors soldiers?
