They need to give pre-set gear. Why scale it all down if some gear "scales" better than others? Why should gear and consumables matter so much for a mode where they aren't supposed to matter?
Oh, i'd forgotten this was coming back today. I can go finish the last 6 challanges to complete the entire set instead of rolling my eyes at the lack of 4pc tier due to obnoxious time-gating.
Nice (re)addition, I didn't tryharded enough last time to get it, but please don't tune it : we need a very hard piece of evergreen content in the game ; even if only .5 % of players manage to do it, it's worth it.
because it is permanent now I don't think they should tune it. when it first returned I did the 3 mage challenges on the first week, I did it this quickly because i "main" ed mage my entire wow life... tried it on a priest, and just kept on wiping for the next three weeks after, it was so frustrating as I couldn't do anything about it in just three weeks as at max I have 9 hours a week. now that it is permanent, I can practice other classes as I should have done without any deadline which I am excited about. :D
Useless until it gets nerfed to the ground. It should be tuned just like it was at end of legion with full bis mythic gear or even easier due to all the class changes through the years.
I did 36/36 Legion, mostly before the nerfs (except heals, the AP helped so much there).Tricked out my WW monk with every correct item gem chant, got my teeth kicked in for 15 pulls, wondering if it's worth it to do this whole thing again.
100% this is slightly over tuned currently, not by much though. I've already done the Xylem challenge multiple times this expansion for the transmog, however I didn't get all of the ones I wanted so I went back in to attempt it and it just seemed like the health values were a bit too high but that was really it. The mechanics hitting as hard as they were are fine, maybe slightly a bit higher than before but the health values are definitely not the same. I was able to reach the final phase and manage the adds and kite the boss around the outer part of the room just like before but was hitting the enrage at 20% left on the bosses health when I was killing the boss close to the enrage before. I thought "eh maybe it's because I'm on a different class that I don't play that much" so I logged into my main that has the same challenge and went again, in a full set of min maxed timewalking gear all while using unbridled fury potions in the last phase with lust and cd's as well and was still wiping to the soft enrage with about 18% left on the boss when that was just not the case at all before. So, I'd expect to see some tuning for sure soon. I wouldn't blindly tell people to get good because chances are 99% of the people typing that on this thread have never even seen a mythic end boss or have gotten achievements like gladiator or anything before, they're your typical pug AoTC heroes at best. However, I would also not blindly complain that the %^&* is BROKEN hard either, because it's not. I just simply believe the health values and maaaaaybe some of the damage numbers are a tad bit too high.
