The max level in Legion is 110. You can start questing in the Broken Isles at 98.

The new class in Legion is the Demon Hunter. This class was open to Early Access players in August.

The starting Legion questline sends you to the Broken Shore, Dalaran, and acquiring your Artifact.

Leveling Zones in Legion dynamically scale; you can start questing in one of four zones.

There are no weapon drops in Legion; your Artifact serves as your weapon throughout the expansion. Artifacts are powerful weapons steeped in lore, with traits and relics to enhance gameplay, and a variety of appearances for transmog.

There are 10 new dungeons available at Legion's launch, with profession, class campaign, and world quests that offer additional incentives to run them. Mythic+ is a new difficulty that replaces Challenge Modes for skilled players.

The highest ilvl loot at launch comes from Legion World Bosses and Legion Legendaries; other loot can proc a higher Warforged item level to reach ilvl 850.

World Quests are max-level quests that provide a variety of rewards, enhanced through the Emissary system for additional bonuses. Additional max-level solo content is the outdoor zone Suramar with the elaborate quest achievement Good Suramaritan.

Class Halls are iconic locations for each class, allowing you to interact with famous NPCs, spec your artifact, recruit champions, and complete the class campaign for the third artifact relic slot.

Professions have epic storylines in Legion, sending you around the world to learn new recipes.

While the PvP season doesn't start until September 20th, players can start gaining Honor Talents when Legion goes live.

Mythic+ Dungeons, Normal/Heroic Emerald Nightmare, and Legion Season 1 start on September 20th.

Each spec has a unique questline to acquire their artifact weapon at level 98. We have made guides to each artifact weapon which detail each step of the questline as well as videos to each questline.

Acquiring and Spending Artifact Power and Knowledge covers how to earn the currency to purchase more Artifact Weapon traits and how much each costs! This can be sped up at level 110 with Artifact Knowledge, a system that grants you more power than usual from Artifact items.

How to Unlock Artifact Appearances covers each method of acquisition and how difficult it is

One set of appearances is locked behind a hidden method of acquisition. Wowhead users have been tracking them down, which are compiled in the Hidden Appearances and Effects guide.

Each Artifact Weapon Guide includes screenshots and videos of all weapon appearances for that artifact and the Guide to All Artifact Weapons links to every single appearance and detailed source.

Mythic Dungeon loot starts at 840; we have strategy guides to all of these dungeons. Court of Stars and The Arcway have notable Mythic 2-piece itemsets.

World Quests are a new max-level quest system. There is a small chance these quests will reward gear; the rewards start at ilvl 805 and progressively better ones are available as your ilvl increases.

Crafted Gear: The best crafted gear starts at ilvl 815 after completing a long questline. This can be upgraded to 850 via the Obliterum Forge and Obliterum, which is created by incinerating old crafted gear.

Class Hall Set: Each piece of the Class Hall set is acquired by completing Legion Content, such as killing dungeon bosses or earning reputation. Each piece has a fixed ilvl between 810 and 850, and players can purchase upgrade tokens so eventually the full set can reach 840 (with shoulders at 850).

World Bosses are up at launch, when their corresponding World Quest is up. They drop 850 loot; after raids open, they will drop 860 loot.

Reputation Gear: There are ilvl 820 items at Revered and ilvl 850 items at Exalted. Nightfallen reputation also has a few more items at Friendly and Revered.

Legendaries are ilvl 895 world drops and come with a powerful effect which transforms one of your spec abilities. You can only equip one at launch.

Val'sharah, a zone steeped in Druidic lore, is battling the corruption of the Emerald Nightmare. Quests award Dreamweavers reputation.

Highmountain, home to the Highmountain Tauren, is a mountainous land with waterfalls and rivers reminiscent of Yosemite. Quests award Highmountain reputation.

Azsuna, home to the former Highborne, is a land rich in magical leylines and magic so condensed that it has formed crystals. Quests award Court of Farondis reputation.

Stormheim, home of Stormdrakes and the Vrykul, examines the tensions between the Alliance and the Horde admist the backdrop of rugged highlands and epic statues. Navigating around the steep cliffs will require the special Grappling Hook from questing. Quests award Valarjar reputation.

Legion Dungeon Overview

Dungeon loot has a chance to be Warforged up to ilvl 850 (at launch), giving players with good gear an incentive to run their friends through easier difficulties.

Most professions and class campaigns require you to enter several dungeons for quests; Halls of Valor is the most popular dungeon.

Each dungeon has 2-3 profession-related drops and bosses also drop Blood of Sargeras.

Achievements completed on Mythic difficulty award Glory of the Legion Hero and Reins of the Leyfeather Hippogryph.

Court of Stars and The Arcway require Nightfallen rep, and are Mythic-only. As an incentive to run these dungeons which require extra effort, loot includes special two-piece sets with equip bonuses.

Acquiring and Spending Order Resources: You will need this currency to progress in Order Advancement, Artifact Knowledge, Missions, and more.

Getting to Each Class Order Hall: Each class has a unique way to reach their hall; we have maps, pictures, and directions so you don't get lost!

Order Advancement Tech Tree and Rewards: This system has six tiers, allowing you to pick between abilities that buff your Class Hall. It culminates in Tier 6 with an ability that lets you equip two legendaries at once. There are also some interesting Tier 2 abilities along the way, which reward hidden artifact appearances, toys, and pets!

Legion Class Hall Overview: Locations to all the class halls, how to acquire the Class Hall Set, videos of each Class Hall, and a list of all the unique things to do in your Class Hall like speccing your Artifact.

Legion Class Hall Missions: This guide is by Tritox, author of the well-known Follower and Shipyard guides! This will answer any questions about champions, troops, missions, and upgrades.

Class Hall Campaign: In addition to unlocking the third artifact relic slot, the Class Hall Campaign takes you all around the Broken Isles, also rewarding gear, a title, and artifact appearances.

Class Hall Sets and Appearances: These sets are solid starting gear but also are recolors of Mists of Pandaria Challenge Mode Armor; great for transmog.

Collections

Mounts include Bloodfang Cocoon and Reins of the Llothien Prowler. Preview them in the Dressing Room and YouTube playlist, and learn how to get them in the Legion Mount Guide by Obtains.

Battle Pet Updates include many new wild pets, the Family Familiar achievement, and Broken Pet Portal.

Many fun items were converted to toys in the pre-expansion patch and Legion has dozens of new toys like Steamy Romance Novel Kit and JewelCraft.

The transmog set database is updated for Legion (images coming soon), creating matching outfits from all new gear in the game! If you are returning to WoW after a break, check out the updated transmog appearance system and weapon illusions.

Honor Talents

PvP Overview | Honor Talent Calculator

The term "Honor" has a new meaning in Legion. It now refers to a type of PvP experience that unlocks PvP talents. Earning 50 honor levels grants you a "Prestige" level. You can repeat earning honor levels 1-50, earning a new level of Prestige every time. Most PvP activities grant honor.

There are three choices in every Honor Talent row, but not all choices are accessible at first. As you gain honor levels, you unlock the first column top to bottom, and so on. Some talents are shared by all specs of a certain role, some are unique to a class, and some are unique to a spec.

Prestige Levels: When you reach Honor Level 50, you have fully unlocked all available PvP talents. You can turn that Honor in to gain a Prestige Level for a vanity reward, which in turn locks all your Honor Talents again, or simply stay at Honor Level 50 to enjoy full access to talents.

There are only four levels of Prestige available as part of Legion Season 1. Rewards include an Artifact appearance, pets like Alliance Enthusiast, and mounts like Prestigious Bronze Courser
