No issues skipping, just did the questline and a big meh.
Like I care about an alt being a whole whopping week behind.
Just went and did the intro quest on another alt to see how long it would take.It was an ilvl 200 warrior, took me ~75 minutes skipping quests, though, I took a bathroom break and was talking to some guildies on disc while doing the quests, so I want 100% focused on getting through it s fast as I could.
I just redid the intro quest on an alt and it took literally 20 minutes. And I spent half that time complaining about having to recraft my leggos in gchat. The reason it took hours on launch night was because of the lag. It's very much worth doing if you care about the rewards on alts.
Blizzard really is doing everything they can to sink Shadowlands huh?
Uhm.. the parts you skip, do not take 6-8 hours. I've done it on two characters now and I've not had time to play 12-16 hours of 9.1 yet. I did it with two others from my guild on my second toon and I didn't play more than about 1.5 hours then.. sure, some of the quests were faster, but we also had a few short breaks for people to sort their UI and such, plus we didn't skip as the two others had not done it before.Maybe, if you count all the faithscribe stuff, it's close to 8 hours.. but those aren't skipped.
what you can do if you want the wep do the quest until you finish the wep quest , you can skip it afterwards , i did it for my shaman i finished the wep quest then skipped the rest , dont for get you can STILL skip at ANY TIME you want to
