"Can your mortal minds fathom how long I have waited?"Nobody cares, nipple boy!
This game's storyline has a serious pacing problem. Everything's so spread out that it's almost impossible to care about anything.
Cataclysm style (partial) world revamp is heavily implicated here. Zovaal attacks Azeroth during the encounter, Azeroth takes some damage and receive new scars.
Eh nothing much here standard super bad guy monologue before fight
Zovaal: Can your mortal minds fathom...Zovaal: How long I have waited?Zovaal: Every event set in motion?Zovaal: Every pawn put into play?Player-Base: I don't even know who you are, you're just another god for me to add to my kill-streak
WHY IS THE JAILOR SO CUNNING MAN THIS STORY IS SO GOOD#$%^ ALL THE HATERS THEY ARE ALL PAWNS
We still don't even know what his plan is or what he is even trying to do."Oh, but he's trying to break the cycle, and free us from death" as we've been told in the past. What does that even mean? It's fine if you want to use that as a brief summary of what his goals are, but we're a year and a half in the story at this point and still don't understand what the hell that actually means! Does he want to end the cycle of death? Does he want to change the cycle as a way to feed himself with more power? WE DON'T KNOW.For a game that is supposed to have a story that is allegedly "culminating to the big reveal, where we finally found the big-bad responsible for everything bad in the game, we really don't know what he's even trying to accomplish. It's infuriating that they want to make these bold claims as to why he's bad, or why we should care, and yet they never show us why we should care. We've just been given," He's bad, so you should kill him," not some evil mastermind that has a clearly evil plan.
World of Warcraft: A Realm Reborn. Please, just blow up Azeroth already so we can have a WoW2 with a re-originate Azeroth... I just want to kill high-resolution pigs.
