That's actually a really clever use of the Forge of Souls and Icecrown Citadel for this cinematic. It's pretty cool he uses it as a conduit to drain Azeroth's souls
You know that place with the soul grinders that were used to power the scourges machines? The one we destroyed in Wrath? Yeah well actually it wasnt destroyed and it was actually used to drain Azeroths soul. 10/10
That's actually a really cool recontextualization of the Forge of Souls. I never really understood what that facility was meant to be or do, and it always seemed a little misplaced compared to everything else we saw in Icecrown.
Okay. Let me say this, the story of Sylvanas is dog #$%^. The story of the Jailer is dog ^&*!. BUT, reusing the Wrath Dungeon "Forge of Soul" to explain how the Jailer is extracting Azeroth's World Soul? That's FREAKING GENIUS.
