Only in WoW would the Trial of Valor outfits be seen as simplistic.
It's so weird to me what they do and don't allow back. Ostensibly, the AoTC reward should be more prestigious. Meanwhile, the Mage tower sets were a difficulty check that were all but cheesed by the end of the expansion. You'd think the Spellwing would be the one bit of fomo that, like elite pvp sets, isn't allowed back up for grabs.
Why are we getting Legion Remix when we could get expansion content? If you want Legion remix, just go play the legion content. Whammo! That is your remix. Not necessary to waste time and money on something that already exists. I think Blizzard believes that everyone plays 16hrs a day every day across 100 alts or something lol. While it could be cool, its not worth it if it means less expansion content. And that is exactly what it means. Sad. Get ready to create yet another character, just to power rush through all of legion content and get some mogs. So exciting :(
To all the people asking "Why AOTC mount but no Mage Tower"I have the answer, and it is so incredibly easy:Boosts.AOTC, being a raid, needed 10+ people to do it, so you could have been carried through it or paid someone to carry your sorry ass through it.Mage Tower is individual achievement. The only way for you to boost it would be to pay someone and give them your account information so they would log on it and complete it for you. Obviously, the second one is much, much more dangerous so while it was possible I'd imagine the prevalence of it was CONSIDERABLY lower than the little rich boys who think they could just swipe to get what they wanted.That does make me wonder, all of you who complain and cry about MT, how many achievements/unlocks did you get by giving gold to someone..?

It makes zero sense to bring back an AotC mount and not the mage tower skins.
No mage tower appearances but MYTHIC Trial of Valor appearances = good according to blizzard's eyes, you can do mage tower right now, but no mythic HOV, you can one shot everything, do all of the raids and still get mounts, transmog, do heroic and mythic Antorus skips... BUT according to blizzard is easier to do buy an AOTC mount but no Mage Tower artifact appearances via doing MAGE TOWER, make it harder? no, make it different? no, no nerfs neither buffs and longer fights? no, but you get pretty cool purple bird from an AOTC that obviously it's no longer available to have or farm...You see now the problem? (in blizzard's eyes)Mage Tower = no goodPurple bird = yes goodwhoever is designing this stuff, what is wrong with you, I assure you 85% of the people who wants to play Legion Remix wants the Mage Tower Artifact Weapons, the other 15%? maybe people who already have it and don't care and 5% probably won't even play the EVENT and just wants people to suffer over pixel like this comment. sorry for wasting your time reading this but it's ridiculous, tf blizzardi
At this point, just cancel Remix and bring Legion Classic with just increased AP gains for Alts and i will be happy!
Some developer didn't get this stuff back when it was current content so now they bring it back with Remix.That particular developer did get the Mage Tower appearances though so that isn't coming back.WoW has been on a steep decline and this is how you want to attract new / old players?

I don't know why they aren't doing the obvious thing and just giving anyone who achieves the AOTC during Remix a recolor of the Spellwing. That's how it should have been from the start.What's the point in doing AOTC again if I'm not going to get something new?
I'm an advocate of old rewards coming back, especially while keeping the essence of the rewards original obtain goals the same. As such I really wish they'd return MT rewards while Lemix was active, but put it in the retail version permanently along with the tier recolors. The scaling might not be 1 to 1 with the original but there is still a challenge to getting them.
