i really doubt it since it honestly doesn't make sense with what actually happens in dragonflight so far. not going to spoil but with you did the last zones questing with the bronze then you kinda already know he hasn't changed YETnow will it actually happen? who knows but its still fated that he will turn but at the same time the player characters are never accounted when other npcs say that X will happen. arguably even the titans/first ones don't really account for what the player characters actually end up doing with complete accuracy so who knowsfurthermore its unknown whether or not his change in this timeline will result in him being evil but just a changed perspective.
Znozboi losing his marbles in the sand as anyone would being aware of such a grim future for himself. He´s trying to understand how and prevent it but only helping it along in doing so. Pre-determined fate/destiny is a b*tch, regardless of his actions there'll always be a timeline where he becomes murozond... if nothing else because a wild au garrosh appears and gets the ball rolling lol. Personally though I'm a fan of Chromie betraying him and pushing him over the edge, it'd be much more subtle and morally ambiguous given the appropriate setup. He's still hurting from Neltharions betrayal, I don't think he'd be able to handle one of his own going rogue/disagreeing with his management of the timelines.. and Chromie's always been a bit of a wildcard and fanfavorite.
For the people that are still a bit down because of the story from Shadowlands:Something important to remember is, that a certain Alex dropped this whole "Sylvanas is bad" plot thingy on them, and then was out of the picture without giving them any resolution. So they were stuck with some weird story arc that they had no idea what to do about.Doesn't entirely excuse that whole Shadowlands thingy, but kinda gives hope for Dragonflights as something completely new and with all relevant people still in the picture. As for Murozond: It would be amusing if it was already him here, but I pretty much doubt it. It just doesn't seem like Emberthal had anything of value for Murozond, but only something of value for Nozdormu. And when you talk about Nozdormu behaving weirdly in several cases... well, Nozdormu behaves weirdly quite a lot. Not answering question with a yes or no is the least of the worries with him.
Illidan - Did you not see this fate prophet? Velen - Our survival was never in fate's hand. So from this I can conclude nothing's set in stone that Nozdormu will become Murozond unless they retcon what they wrote .
Illidan: My fate is my own! (is forced to fel-laser his way out of "helpful" Xe'ra's grip)=probably Nozdormu, who is ofc aware of the whole Murozond thing and frustrated that there are missing chunks in his vision -Nosing around this recovered homeland, WHAT, another chunk of missing vision? _ is on the lookout for people who are capable of throwing monkey wrenches into this pesky Fate stuff, so his sand can get back into a busted hourglass and Flow Different.such as these Dracthyr, and such as us heroes.=I'd say he hopes that titan widget was responsible for the vision problem, rather than say, his own meddling self.=It would be interesting to see Zidormi (our guide to "observe how it was in an earlier time" at many map shards near you) become an observational quest giver. How many OTHER bronze dragons can't see things that they ought to be able to?
I never understood the Murozond plot line, tbh. If he knows he’s going to become this monster and threaten the very existence of reality why doesn’t he trap himself in stasis or just kill himself? He’s certainly been portrayed as selfless enough to do it, as have most of the other Aspects. And for that matter why don’t the others put an end to him? They had no problem doing it for Neltharion when it was clear he would threaten the world with destruction. The whole thing just screams “we wanted to introduce evil time traveling space dragons to the game and who cares about the plot.” The plot line also hasn’t gone anywhere for years now so I wouldn’t hold my breath for anything interesting happening in DF either.
WoW players did lore speculation over and over. Do you remember Pyromancer theories and Titan conspiracies? It's cool to listen/read/speculate but then the expansion writing is painfully crude and often cut in half due to whatever reason.
This theory was originally populated by Taliesin, and it's just as much bull$%^& theorycrafting now as it was when his video released.
Oh god, that better not be true. We need Nozdormu to be on the side of good, and also, a white and teal dragonflights.
Nozdormu is going to be the Sylvannas of this expansion. He's not going to be the end boss in 10.3, but he's going to be heavily included in the story as a former ally and now enemy. He will probably get redeemed in the end.
