I hope this inadvertently fixes the restricted nameplate distance of 60 that impacted retail during bfa s3. Tol dagor became so annoying. And no, this was a problem even members in limit noticed but couldn’t fix. The cvar just didn’t change even after reloading. Also, I am excited for this in classic. Had way more fun seeing mobs far out while leveling before the change, and I don’t think the nameplate fix at 20 really benefited gameplay.
I mean with 1/2 the player base being hunters now they better be.
How about they bring it back to retail too
! Hell yea
Now we just need floating healing text, fantastic.
This is fantastic, I quite literally can't see without nameplates, it's just how i learned to track targets in the game, I've been using addons like Tidyplates, Neatplates, Plater to control these things and can't play retail without them, 20 yard nameplates in classic almost ruined it for me, very happy to see the increase to 40 yards, but would love even more control
This should be added to retail too. Removing it was a big mistake.
That's actually really cool!
Can we please get a fix for the Combat Text missing from the Interface Options as well? The one that lets us have healing numbers render on players? This was added in TBC, but is not currently in the beta. It's been bug reported a ton of times, and theres been no word on it.
Give me that baby! finally was so painful to be range dps I got enough from it in classic! TBC big hype!
Waiting for YouTube videos explaining how the increased distance will kill TBC Classic...
What about retail?
Can I tab target things outside 20yards now?
Do we have to do this every time we log in or is this a one time thing?
