This is kind of funny because having to click on the bobber was implemented in Vanilla for the very purpose of not being able to create a bot to do fishing for you. Making it purposefully intractable to complete was intended. Wonder why the change?
BOTS REJOICE! FISH MARKET DEAD
*happy bot sounds in the distance*
It's not going to get nerfed you dimwits, this is the intended behavior. How else would you be able to fish with a controller?
Doesn't work
People saying bots will come for this like a wildfire. No.Bots are just doing everything else other than fishing, if they aren't already capable of making fishing bots. Plus fishing does not make a ton of gold in the first place.I would hate it if a reasoning for removing this would be bots, because A LOT of things need to be bot fixed then
/console SoftTargetInteractArc 2 (This will allow you to interact with the bobber no matter which way you are facing.)/console SoftTargetInteractRange 30 (This increases the interaction range to 30 yards. Adjust to your needs)Credit Rushgarroth in the YouTube Comments
Please, Blizzard, let this not be one of those "no fun allowed" times.
Yeah Blizzard, what you gonna do now about this probably not intended feature that playerbase is happy about?
These constant comments about bots are silly and prove that you guys have no idea how bots work.
No reason that this will change anything with botting. You can already bot fishing by turning all music off and have a program detect the splash sound, then have it search your screen for the red pixels on the bobber and click it. This has been a thing since vanilla.
yeah Kraken Latte!
So, once I got all other profession pre-DF sorted I can speed fish my way to max level on all my alts. :-D
