Meanwhile, 18 Alliance guilds have done the same thing.

God this faction is suffering.

I know of at least one alliance guild, Temerity, that's killed it and isn't listed on that raiderio page

imagine just having crossfaction guilds and 1 hall of fame

I wasn't playing when Blizzard released cross-faction parties/mythic+. So when I started Dragonflight and got back into m+ again, I was pleasantly surprised at all the people playing, "Wow, look at how many people are running keys, and a lot of high keys too", I thought to myself.

Then I looked at the faction, and noticed about 95% of all groups in the group finder are horde. I've pugged A LOT of keys this season, and probably only 3 or 4 of them were Alliance ... kind of sad.

Can’t wait to read all those comments of 7/8HC hordies talk &*!@ about alliance players as if factions matter xD

It’s too much of a hassle without actually being able to join your cross faction guild. Until then it’s kind of useless.

They used to matter since it was one of the features I liked about WoW. I hope it will. However, yes, factions do matter. Less than years ago but factions still matter.

Can we take raids back to SoO/WoD raid levels of difficulty?

Lol. Matter how?

I played Horde only until DF. I rolled Alliance for fun. No difference, but the Alliance player base has been more mature and friendlier ime. If I wasn't on Stormrage (among a handful of others) mythic raiding would however be near inconceivable

instead of buffing alliance, blizzard gave up and is just moving forward with cross-faction mythic LUL

Thing is, lots of the racials for DPS are really good on Alliance now. Funny with how much people are willing to do to squeeze out 0.5% more DPS, that few high end guilds are swapping.

Blizzard saw fit to let horde racials be absurdly overpowered for so long the great majority of the raiding community slowly ended up going horde just to be able to have some assurance against the roster boss. Very sad, there's a lot of us that $%^&ing hate playing on the cartoonishly evil faction but the alternative is watching recruiting be a *!@#show, and being on the opposite faction from all your friends that were coerced into doing the same.

Horde racials being better lasted a relatively short amount of time. Alliance racials have been stronger for much longer than Horde racials have been, but by the time they made Alliance racials so strong, the harm had always been done. It only took a small amount of time for enough people to reroll to Horde, making the Horde better for raiding, which in turn attracted even more people to the Horde.
Repeat that cycle for over a decade and we get to what we have today, a huge gap caused by a very slight balancing anomaly. If anything that probably reflects a lot worse on the playerbase than on Blizzard, as the playerbase happily demolished any hope of faction balance over what used to be a less than 1% difference, even at the cost of possibly playing on the faction they enjoyed less

Overtuned, nerf plz.

5 alliance guilds have killed this boss

Comment by Bakermoose

Who in the flying #$%^ cares really? Classic will just come along eventually and do it again and claim they did all the hard @#$%. Hall of fame, in a game, what a joke of a concept. It's a game people, treat it as such.

Comment by Gorerack

Check this out: basketball, hockey, football, etc all have halls of fame. You might not realize, but those are games. Turns out games are pretty good places to have halls of fame.

If you've been following some interviews, they are definitely working on crossfaction guilds, but this seems to require them to recode years of work, as the obviously didn't prepare that with the intent of changing it now. Be patient, they are trying :)
