Finally. If PvP items scaled to Max ilvl in Instanced PvP, It will be so much easier to gear characters and get ready to play competitively. That is similar to how MoP and WoD did PvP gear.
"what they hope will fill the void left behind by the AP grind"No need to fill that "void".Also, take lessons from SL, mainly the launch (9.0). Let people also get gear from pve content, do not try to make it scarce to force players into pvp again.
Wonder what the new 'catalyst' would be in Dragonflight? That thing is easily my favorite thing that came from Shadowlands, and I am quite glad to hear them acknowledge they waited to long to activate it.
That idea for the PvP gear sounds much, much better. PvP gear being at its highest state immediately would lower the barrier of entry substantially and having the PvE aspect of it as the upgradable portion would help nudge people towards doing PvE as well without making them feel forced.
Kinda seems like Ion said it's group loot and not master loot, and Morgan thinks a discussion is happening when it's already concluded. Not sure the time difference between some of these interviews but this has been a consistent messaging difference between these 2 in different videos.I mean you get the same result in the end, Just avoiding the 1% maniacal raid leader scenarios, which is probably for the best.
Ok a moment ago I typed a gigatoxic comment but I'll boil it down to this:- basicly asking for AP? You ok bruh? - yes some people will get pi'ed and get more value from certain buffs and abilities that's a good thing for your team, stop %^&*!ing over individual overall damage. - if you think you are gonna miss grinding AP maybe play an alt or do some proffesions.- if there would be somthing the likes of AP make it farmable with no restrictions. If I wanna farm a million in one sitting instead of 5000 a day let me.
Why do they keep avoiding directly answering the Catalyst question? Just say if it will be in or not? Also RIP classes like hunters with no raid buffs in case they are undertuned and the unrevealed talent trees bring even more raid buffs.
I'm looking forward to crafting being more robust, plus having spare time to spend on it instead of farming AP or the 5000 other things we had to grind in this expansion.
Creation Catalyst was the best thing in Shadowlands and I hope we keep it for DF.
"They're excited to see what people come up with once they start running sims and working on their builds."The exactly same builds as everyone else.
No Master Loot, It always causes problems with the few getting all the loot and the other getting nothing.
Bringing master loot back is probably going to be the final nail in the coffing of casual raiding. Also GDKP raids + WoW token is too much.
