Doesn't really matter. Even capped we are getting vastly more hero crest than any previous season at the same time.
Unpopular opinion it should all count towards cap but overall cap should be higher.
Seriously its 2026, take the dang cap off already.

Prey was, I guess, an ok activity for the 3 weeks it lasted.I wonder how many thousands of dev hours it took.
Aaaand another system left to gather dust because god forbid it rewards something.Could've easily upped the difficulty and rewards accordingly but no.. So now prey and delves are pretty much a waste of time already because Blizzard is unwilling to give people what they want.
Let's add fuel to the flame here.It's retroactive as well, so all earned previous weeks also counted to this week's cap.Logged in to see I'm capped again this week just because how hard I went to farm these previous to the reset
Prey is done for the achievements only after M+ were unlocked. There's no need in extra hero crests. There are pugs for mythic Undreamt God raid already, prey gear outlived its usefulness.
ruin my entire @#$%in week had the perfect plan to get hero of dawn on alt to buff my main but now forced to sit through mindless beloren heroic pugs to maybe buy a 4/6 piece of loot that may not even drop or the person that won may not even want to sell, so cringe when we just dont announce gearing changes like this until day of
