you say help your friends, sure maybe... but all I see is a new thing for boosters to try and sell
Thanks to a friend doing 3rd boss for me, I was able to complete this on a 197 BM Hunter with no legendaries. Another +1 on the mount list.
Heroic does change gear item level on a season change. At least it did in BFA
Finally got it done as a 218 BM hunter after reading the tips here. Domina was the most challenging part due to the stun and adds with the stacking debuff. I was initially using a spirit beast but switched to a clefthoof pet as someone suggested. That made a huge difference.I pulled Domina off to the far right of the door she's standing at; you don't want your pets to attack at the door because there's a bone thing that causes LOS issues and you won't be able to heal your pet. Use mend pet and misdirect on CD. Save your Exhilaration if your pet starts to get too low in health and your mend is on still on CD. Health pots are super important. Bonus if you happen to have some warlock healthstones saved from other group things. The more options you have to heal yourself, the better. When the adds spawn, feign and don't touch anything (so you don't accidentally cancel it) for at least 2-3 seconds to give them time to stop casting - basically when the blades stop flying at you. Your FD will still be on CD when the next group of adds spawn and you may have a stun coming at the same time like I did. I used Turtle for the stun then used FD once it was available. You should still be okay if you get hit a couple of times with the blades. The fight took about two and a half minutes, but it took me a few tries to finesse. The trash before Margrave Stradama killed my main pet a few times but I didn't have any trouble keeping myself alive while I revived it. The actual boss fight wasn't bad at all compared to Domina. The lowest my health got was about 65% and my pet was doing fine. I didn't realize until halfway through the fight that I had forgotten to turn auto-taunt back on, but I was still using misdirect on CD, so it wasn't too big of an issue. The fight took a little under 4 minutes. I was so glad to be done with it.
Easier solution, have a Tank/BM hunter alt and DIY.
has anyone tested if player A, C, D, and E zones into the dungeon immediately after player B defeats Margrave Stradama when the Curious Slime Serpent spawns (i.e. will it still be there and/or be clickable by the others?)
Did it as a WW monk. 224 itemlevel. was pretty easy just focus on ST build and ignore add (not when he is putting the circle on the ground). and manage your CD's on all the phases.
If you are doing this as a BM hunter you have to stand with you back against the door leading to the last boss and Feign Death every time Domina Venomblade summons the steath adds. If you time it right you can negate the damage they do entirely and you dont even have to kill them did it on a 210 BM hunter with little issues
Doesn't work, tried this with my hunter. Solo'd up to margrave and made a group so I could switch to my Veng DH who is a tank and is better geared to deal with Infectious Rain debuff. Incase you're wondering I couldn't solo domina on DH so I used pet on BM hunter to beat it. Anyway, when i made the group, zoned out on my hunter, logged onto my DH who is in the group with my now offline hunter who is still leader. When I entered on DH the instance had reset. I logged back onto my hunter after zoning DH out and ran back in on her to find the instance also reset for her. This was all on Heroic which is supposed to have a 24hr lockout so either it bugged out or blizzard fixed it. That or blizzard killed alt-lockout sharing like people do/did for old raids i.e Lich King Heroic 25.
