The weapon sacrifices 75-89 secondary stats (depending on item level). This is roughly 2-2.5% damage and healing loss in most cases.

Ephemeral Effusion can proc at most once every 40 seconds but will average slightly worse.

All three effects heal for ~11k-13k depending on your secondary stats at heroic item level. This is significantly better than the first iteration of the weapon that capped out around 2.5k.

Unfortunately, not in most scenarios.Genesis LatheGenesis LatheValues taken from QE Live. Numbers will vary slightly from class to class and by how often you use your proc. The higher your HPS the weaker Genesis Lathe becomes comparatively. A 272 Relic Blade was included for comparison to a +7 ilvl weapon only, but is not an available option from Sepulcher.

The current design is of particular concern for Monks and Paladins, who both lack a high ilvl alternative, and rarely cast their trigger spells during regular play. The triggers could be changed to Vivify & Holy Shock.

The cooldown is also rather long for a single target proc. It could be cut down to 20 seconds with a small reduction to the heal if it's necessary for balance.

The weapon could be moved to the last three bosses to give it a higher item level.

This should be the pinnacle healing weapon of the tier if not the entire expansion.As-is it'll see some play but it could be significantly more exciting.

Comment by JamafricanThis would be true, if it weren't for the fact that this NEEDS to be used as soon as it's off CD every time in order to even keep up with equivalent ilvl weapons with normal stats.

I know druids, shaman, and priests can use daggers, but resto druids, resto shaman, and holy priests aren't going to be able to get 20 stacks of something that procs on offensive spells that easily without sacrificing a lot of healing (well, maybe resto druids if it can proc on DoT ticks). Is there another higher ilevel healer weapon that I am overlooking on the loot table?Comment by FriedPeartatoes
I hard pressed myself not to comment on this weapon but looking at your post i had to.

I do not want to sound strict or anything or even rude but have you taken a min to think about the impact that enveloping mist has on a fistweaver's mana when it is out of chi-ji(if talented) ?

I ll go straight to the issue and say that enveloping mist is a 2.800 mana spell(5.6% base mana) meaning that using it every 40secs in a 5mins fight will be exactly 7.5 uses 7.5x2.800=21.000 mana. That is already more than 40% of your based mana used just to proc the effect regardless of the efficient healing value.
Examples of non-efficient enveloping mist uses:
Hitting the spell every 40sec to proc the item on a full health raidgroup(targeting the tank for the minimum efficiency) nets you nearly no healing benefit even without maths involved.
Hitting the spell on a 40%hp target (meaning the effect will be a hot) nets you a 100% usage of the effect + enveloping mist if you don't count in overheal by your own hots + the other healers.
Hitting the spell on a 90%+ target that you know is going to get hit (effect shield) will either consume the shield alone and overheal(through enveloping mist) or maybe if the target take enough damage then you can make full use of the shield + the enveloping mist hot not considering the other healers reacting.

Writer Sinfulsoul-TarrenMillbase manaweaver*****TLDR:the only spec that deserves to complain about this is Holy Paladin, because every other class can just use a Staff from the raid. They're actually stuck with this if they want a raid weapon.
