Is it possible to have all 4 max out at the same time?
I'm always taking the option that gives the most rep even with the downside, because over time, that extra rep and the extra token should get you finished sooner. My guess is to just use some of the tokens on the group you insulted.
if you're worried about the negative reputation hits and getting all 4 reps to full the TLDR is as long as you pick a faction for the week that gives you the 4th token, you will never actually lose rep with any faction, since the weekly quest offered by the token gives you 100 rep and you can use multiple tokens on the same faction each week.
The rep rewards don't seem that good
Venthyr did it better.
This event is just really annoying. I get the theme, but having to deal with negative rep and trying to min-max something, what even is the point? There's no actual downsides to picking a negative rep, the game practically only gives you 1 or 2 options anyway. It feels gimmicky for the sake of being gimmicky, not for the sake of trying to be good or fun.
In reviewing the rewards, actually none of them are useful to progress in the game, they are all cosmetics or house decor, even the recipes result in creating house decor. Many may figure this out later that it is not really helpful for you to do them, but to each their own.Thank you for the warning, this was something I was trying to find earlier, but I have not finished the campaign so I do not see any of these quests available. It reminds me of the Goblin sub-factions where each offered its own version of cosmetics to the car and gear but really nothing of real value except to collectors.
So I just picked a faction (Farstriders) which was supposed to give me +125 Farstriders, +100 Shades of the Row, and -100 Magisters. But there was no negative rep, only the two positive reps. Not only did it not show up in my log, it would be impossible to have lost 100 rep, since I'm at 400/500 now, and I would have been at 0/500 on the next rank. Also, I looked before clicking anything and it said 400/500.I don't know if there's never negative rep, or if it was patched in at some point, or if you stop losing rep once you get to a certain level. I'm 4/6 Blood Knights and 3/6 everyone else, if relevant. This means you always want to look at the faction that gives the most positive rep. You also want to look at whichever faction gives an extra coin because that's +100 rep to whichever faction you want. Then you want to make sure you won't go way over cap with a rep, since you get +300 for the runestone quest on whichever faction you chose. For each faction: (total positive rep) + (if extra coin 100, else 0) + (if more than 300 from cap, 300, else 500-current)Then pick the faction with the highest total. Ideally, you'd focus on lower reps first, so you'll guarantee you don't waste positive reps later, but it seems to shift around enough this isn't a huge thing to worry about. For my Farstriders, I had (+125 Farstriders + 100 Blood Knights - 100 Magisters => +225) + (100 wherever) + (300 Farstriders) = +625.Then you always get another +100, +100, +100 to distribute wherever through the coins. But if Blood Knights had been maxed, I wouldn't get the +100 so I'd need to ignore it, and if Farstriders was close to max I'd have to account for how much of the +425 would be wasted. Etc.
