if they change illidan's harem it will be a cool way to bring him back as a pissed off vilain(lorewise) ! just a thought :P
I'm absolutely here for Medivh as a glorious bisexual icon. Also all this gamer salt gives me life, keep it coming Blizzard! <3
Blizzard is gonna Kill themselves and they still dont realise it. When a loud small minority tries to press through an of gender politics 90% of their customers doesnt give two *!@#s about. And even Blizzard doesnt care its pure PR. Disgusting politic *!@#. Enjoy the gender simulator folks. I wanna play a game to disconnect from the normal world. And yet I get more politics smashed into my head than anywhere else. Dont get me wrong. Politics are important. But Im here to have fun, play a game, have adventures and experience something unique. This is just... so stupid.
Omg this is literally like something from the Onion at this point

i mean, one of the oldest professions in the world is prostitution. I mean they had brothels back in the day. It was usually ran by a lady of the house. Its also safer for the ladies and they can usually choose how much their services are worth, its actually empowering women. However, some do not. Some are taken advantage of or have a pimp (some offer protection, others basically use them as slaves for money). Why change the oldest profession ran by women? They shouldnt be ashamed of their bodies or their business. (this coming from a woman)I wish there was more men represented but honestly the closest thing to having men brothels would be Japanese Host clubs. We dont really have anything (at least not well known) in US with men as the objects of affection. Doing this kinds of reminds me of movies. Example, movies in colonial era have different races represented and in higher classes. it is historically inaccurate and ruins the immersion and is just there to have more inclusive representation. it makes it stick out like a sore thumb and draws negative attention to it instead. The changing of everything "offensive" is doing the same thing.
Good lord I don't think anyone could be more out of touch than blizzard at this point lmao
I guess it's nice that the villainous characters are so progressive. How long until Sargeras is planting a flower instead of stabbing a sword?Sarcastic hyperbole aside, progressive changes are on the whole good, but when you make a character who was malignant at best and a monster at worst to have a very progressive non-offensive party, they kinda stop being a villain. It's like the inclusion of wheelchair rules in DnD. Good for players, inclusion and options are good, but I don't think Acererak, Tiamat, or another truly evil character is going to make sure their evil lair is compliant with the ADA, because they're the bad guy.Edit: and honestly for that matter, I'd rather they fix their workplace atmosphere first, instead of Disneyfying their bad guys into ... Whatever this is.
This pandering is starting to get annoying, renaming stuff isn't the same as cleaning up the work place, I wish we'd hear more about that than things having their name changed in WoW, I'm still annoyed about the consort change because where I live, consort isn't offensive and can be applied to both genders.
Finally! Male "prostitutes" in the harems. Still not . . . quite what really needs to happen, but I hope they're working on that part too.
