A kill-requirement faction? Yep. Passing, doing anything that requires actual PvP on elemental is pretty stupid anyways.
The bloody coins farm was the worst thing ever implemented and now they're bringing this crap back... /sigh Together with WQ that force flag you for pvp so you can be ganked by your own faction. Great. Another "fun" and "interesting" game design to shove pvp down people's throats.
Pet battles and PvP? I'm IN!
"You will need 420 Marks of Prey to be Exalted."( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Unless they add a transmog option for mounts, because the waterstriders are superior to any mount in this expansion, this is just another grindfest filler patch for +1 mounts you'll only show off during afk'ing in your order hall while waiting for dungeon queues. So yeah, skip!
Can you get all four mounts on the same character or do you have to choose which hatchling you want to raise?
I already obtained 2 mounts so I guess you don't have to choose.
Ugh. More Ordos-like crap. :(
Are the quest repeatable on the same character?
Does it HAVE to be on a 105 level toon?
Ugliest mount ever.Dont bother to do any quest for a mount like this one.
Oh how i hope this has nothing to do with the pathfinder achievement....
The video shown of the animation is one I took yesterday and to fill people in on how exactly to get things done in a shorter amount of time, I will walk you through what I was doing to expedite it. I have 5 characters at 110, so I was able to do a lot each day. Your character must be 110 to do the quests given by the hatchlings, you do not have to be 110 to start the PvP faction AFTER obtaining the mount.Quest progress is ACCOUNT WIDE, meaning for a quest that takes 3 PvP World Quests to complete you can do 1 on each character and complete the quest. You do not have to do them all on one character. If you want to get done faster, you must set up a chain of characters and do not log on a new character in the chain until all quests you have received are completed. Your class doesn't matter, but for explanation purposes I have a Rogue, Mage, Monk, Hunter, and Paladin at 110.1. Log on Rogue, take quests and complete them.2. Log on Mage, take next set of quests and use the Rogue and/or Mage to complete them.3. Log on Monk, take next set of quests and use the Rogue, Mage, and/or Monk to complete them.4. Log on Hunter, take next set of quests and use the Rogue, Mage, Monk, and/or Hunter to complete them.5. Log on Paladin, take next set of quests and use the Rogue, Mage, Monk, Hunter, and/or Paladin to complete them.6. Wait for daily reset and repeat the next day.Tip for anyone having issues getting completion credit: Always have the hatchling you are questing for on the ground next to you and for the pet battle ones make sure you have it in your team of 3. When in doubt, double check and make sure the pet is following you, when you change your team it summons the pets you put in and will dismiss your hatchling. I had ZERO issue with getting credit when I did that, the only buggy thing I encountered was sometimes a PvP WQ I would complete would count more than once.
so wait, how do you get the falcosaur pet in the first place?
Blizzard has been on the ball with mounts this expansion, which was required after the fiasco that was WoD, but it seems they brought back the same creative genius that came up with the bazillion boar recolors. We have this cool quest chain involving capturing and 'raising' battle pets through pet battling and taking them along while we do WQs, dungeon, raids and PvP. Eventually we get a mount version of each battle pet and unlock a new faction, which requires tons of PvP to increase your reputation and..... you get the ability to purchase a 'unique' BC era (ie. low model quality) mount that you only have 50 or so recolors from already, and has zero link to the quest chain, faction or expansion. And it only costs 10.000 gold!
Well it will totally hurt to pass on this title.. but pvp battles is something that I just can't do.
just to let everyone know, that if you have any toons that still have Ultimate Battle-Training Stone, u can use it on these pets. You have to accept the quest on a 110 toon (thats the olny one that the quest showed up for me), than hope on the toon that has the Ultimate Battle-Training Stone, summon the pet, than use the stone & the raise pet to lvl 25 is completed. i used a lvl 100 toon & completed & got exp too.
So, after killing approx. 420 people in PvP, while the avenger of Aviana buff is active, you get to buy a Hawkstrider. For 10k Gold (well, 8k 'cause of the rep. discount). A white Hawkstrider that is a less fancy version of Swift White Hawkstrider. I'm not impressed. With the Ordos Bloodcoin grind there at least was the excuse that those Mushan were rare mounts to begin with. But re-using an old BC-mount is just lame.
Will we be able to obtain all four mounts if we do the questline with each of the four pets? Or is this a "one is all you get" mount? It will make a difference on which one I choose...
