If they don't die with 1 hit of any damage, I'd rather keep the status quo.I remember when I played mage, and an ice lance couldn't kill an orb, and I had to spend 2 seconds to cast a frost bolt to kill it. That was awful.

I'd just be happy if my druids dots actually hit them if I'm not targeting them. Like they do with everything else. By the time I get to target them after a cast they've already died or exploded.
This is a good change. The problem with explosive wasn't killing them, it was the sheer spawn rate when you got into higher keys with necessarily bigger pulls.
Hey with 8 seconds maybe I can help kill them now as demo without killing my dps.

Kekw at you thinking forcing healers to heal through explosive is gonna happen in pugs. Healers already have enough to deal with the genuinely large amounts of weaponised stupidity that play DPS and fail to do mechanics and not stand in %^&*.
More health and slower spawn is generally better. The other issue not mentioned here is in unorganized play you also have the opposite problem in some groups where everyone wants to be the protagonist and you have 4 people sinking a global into all of them increasing pull timers by quite a bit.I don't think it should TAKE everyone swapping, but with 8 seconds if it takes say 4 "filler" globals to kill (again assuming the spawn rate is lower by a good amount) you can split that amongst the group or one person can still deal with it. Also, an increased health pool means you don't feel terrible using a REAL ability on the explosives since as it stands you are actually griefing by using a Killing Machine proc on one as opposed to with the scenario presented that big hit is going to just one tap it without a 1000% overkill.
Explosive would be so much more bearable if we could cleave them instead of swapping targets to kill it. Especially if it's gonna have more health
Explosive has been forced onto the healer and tank and as a healer I regularly have to play whack a mole destroying 120+ explosives a dungeon.
