Rogue, Death Knight, Druid, Warrior and Monk definitely need more effects. They look so lifeless while the other classes are brimming with effects.
The Monk set LMAO.
I really like the warrior set. Reminds me of T4 which is one of my all time favourites. To each their own.
Warrior set is missing 3D assets on boots which makes them much better for me.Overall I find those items every season to be a good change to get mythic effects on other tints, bu I feel those effects are quite dumbed down since this addition, it's just a glow, no additional part on the set.
Warrior now has evolved into a burning garbage can...interesting...!
Unfortunately something I won't get since I don't do mythic or mythic keys due to many reasons.
I feel like Season 3 Warrior effects are a big missed opportunity with how little they seem to add. The DK set luckily looks very great all around and doesn't need anything extra, as it too lacks similar qualities, but the moving jaw really makes up for this. As for the warrior set, it would've been neat to have a "heating up" and "cooling down" animation, similar to the Warlords of Draenor Tier 17 Warrior set. This set very much bears a resemblance to metallurgy with visuals akin to that of superheating metal during "Annealing", but without the end process of "Quenching" to cool it down. I'm a bit disappointed since It could have included some kind of heating up "motion" for warriors, maybe random, maybe when using GCDs. The idea would be that these triggers would cause the upper region of the armor to burn extra bright and hot, the shoulder/head of the warrior to sort of "steam up" in a berserking fit of rage. I'm quite concerned because the "bonus visuals" for the Elite/Mythic/Dreamstone sets really leave a lot to be desired, and I feel that Blizzard just isn't doing as much with dynamic animations on weapons and armor like they used to. Mists, Warlords and Legion really took visuals to the next level, but this kind of work has seemingly tapered off since BFA, with work going towards changing spell animation instead, some of it being put into essence abilities. The optimist in me says this is a temporary resource drain due to the influx in recent character customizations being added. The other possibility... the number of developers creating dynamic armor and weapons has diminished due to a resource strain and/or a loss of workers with skills to create such animations for gear. Either way, I hope we may one day see a return to more dynamic visuals within the World of Warcraft.
I'm a little confused. I thought sets used to have these exact animations/glows on them by default, particularly the higher end sets. Stuff like BRF in WoD. Multiple pieces from several raids over time just had this stuff on it by default, you can even see early versions of it back in Cata. Now we need an item to activate it? I feel I'm missing something.
still i wish these mfs for the elite set of ret put the damn matching shoulder fire in the crown on paladin set smh would make it so much better and i wish they beefed up the chest plate looks kinda flat they need to hired me to put finishing touches on sets to not make them look epic make them look legendary :)
and tho i feel like warrior set could use some more effects and be even more beffy on legs and feet i love the plate color and design for one reason and one reason alone UNSTOPPABLE! JUGGERNAUT! marvel anyone lol?
DK set is still missing the leg armor pieces
I dont see anything different in the paladin one. What am I missing?
The DH set is amazing, but the helm is too high up. Brontosaurus neck.
I may understand that they don't want to recreate all the previous armor in the game for Dracthyr form, but imagine that they don't even care about displaying a simple WRIST or BELT of their own tier set. This wouldn't require a lot of work, as these doesn't need to be adjusted to the model. This is beyond words.
