I really wish we won't have to farm lots of exp and items for the followers. Class hall mission tables on my alts are a mess...
Rangari? As in those Draenei from AU Draenor? ;)
Yea that bugs me, i've done the questline to get the unlock on my main, but on my alts they're all like 900 ilvl, I like the process of gaining xp on them and unlocking the extra slots, but it would be nice if they also had more catchup.
Wonder what iteration they are going to try now. Legion was better than WoD for tables...As long as they update the mobile app and I can fire off mission while at work then I'm cool with it
so in MOP we had a farm, then a garrison, then class orders...what is the next thing?
I feel like King Kaï when Frieza asks Goku for a cup of energy ( https://youtu.be/5LD7NQSie6Y?t=1m7s )."NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!"Blizzard, we know you guys are proud of your little mission mini-game, the UI is nice and all that... BUT WE DON'T WANT IT ANYMORE.The majority of the player base said "please, no more" at Legion, and the majority of the player base is now saying "OH HELL NO!" for Battle For Azeroth. How clueless can they be? There is nothing worse in Legion than being invested in a campaign and then, receiving a quest saying "do 5 missions in a row", missions that you can't run at the same time. You have to do them freaking one after the other. Depending on how much daily time you have to play, that may take 5 days to get to the next part of the campaign. That kind of gating is stupid.
Please not this again :(
God damn it not again..
I would very much like them to either update the garrisons and bring them into current content (and really, always bring them forward i suppose) or combine things.Right now we have:
I kinda enjoy that missions is a thing I can do on my phone. But I would rather they made a pet battle phone app.
No! Bad, Blizzard! Bad! *Swats with a newspaper*For &*!@'s sake. I was really looking forward to moving away from the damn missions. It's fine if you just have one character, but if you have alts it becomes such a time sink. I hate having to log in to all of my characters every damn day to do the order hall missions. And it's not even like the system in Legion was good. Having the order hall campaign locked behind quests like "do these 5 missions that you can only do one at a time" was a pain in the ass. It was clearly just filler to make the campaign seem longer than it was. Then there is the resource grind. In WoD we at least had missions that gave us resources. Why didn't Legion have that? We used to have something similar with the Blood of Sargeras missions. But then Blizzard changed it so they cost more because "that was not the intended use". I know the missions are technically "optional". But if I don't do them, I lose out on a significant amount of character power, and gold for that matter. Here's a radical idea. What if, just if, you got gold and character power buy playing the damn game? By doing World Quests and dungeons and such. You know, like it used to be.Don't bring back the damn missions. Just don't.
On one hand, yes, the whole mission thing is kinda tedious, although the Legion version is far improved compared to the WoD version. On the other hand, it gives you, the player, a sense of vastness. You're not just a lone orc, trekking through Ashenvale and gathering twenty bear asses, you are an acknowledged leader with loyal troops, whose actions reach further than the tip of your sword. The best solution I can think of is to keep the missions, but to make the player able to interact with them. Like, starting a mission creates a temporary world quest which awards for extra loot or faster completion or something.
I'm glad Blizzard is reiterating on the system and is working out kinks instead of just bowing to the people who whine (for no reason). The concept is fine, it got improved majorly in Legion and I am sure it's going to continue.Dunno what issues people have with it, really.
Troops...again? And potentially more than before? Ugh.
