From how it's described the feature seems to accomodate most main uses quite happily. You can have a PvE & PvP spec (changing in the city isn't a problem as you're there for the battle masters most of the time) or you can have a dual role spec (healing / DPS, DPS / tanking etc) for maximising raid utility. The method of switching seems fairly good, in that it pads out the Inscriptor profession (which is almost entirely AH driven) with something that will be reguarly used up, just hope the herbs needed to make the inks don't cross over with any major flask or potion too much!
Bah, the one thing i wanted out of dual-spec was the fact that it would be ALOT easier to get tanks/healers for lower lvl duengons. Imagine your lvling a bOOMkin, and a grp needs a healer, then you just shift your spec, and heal away!
Sweet, never saw this one coming, but now I can go fury for grind/farm/daily work, since i usually don't have the gold for respecs back and forth, but now it's just a one-time farming op, and I don't have to worry bout the cost of going back to prot.As for the lower lvls, I surely do hope they implement it fast, a lvling spec and a dungeon/PvP one would just make things much easier, it might even tempt some newer players to run a few more dungeons rather than just the ones they need for a high-XP Quest Chain and maybe they would learn to press 'Pass' or 'Greed' rather than 'Need' on anything that's blue...And as far as the re-gearing and dual rolling goes, it might be a problem, but it won't bother me, as in our guild, we have this main spec off spec rule since we started going kara, if none of the main speccers want/need it, it's up for grabs amongst the off speccers, as it's always a waste to nuke an epic if someone actually has some use for it (that, and well, even tanks needed some DPS gear for Shade, was funny to see vigilant old me and MT coming around full crafted blue saying 'OK, this is as DPSy as it'll get...')
