So will we be able to toggle the flying or not in 10.2.5?
I feel like people don't realize how much faster Dragonriding is compared to standard flying. It's almost 3 times as fast, depending on how well you can utilize Skyward Ascent. Yes standard flying is nice for precision movements but I feel like scenarios where that is needed aren't as common as people make them out to be. I see a lot of animosity on this topic but I just think some people aren't being honest with themselves if they think they want to go back to 310% speed. Hope its easily toggleable though.
TBC flying should be called air swimming.
Good stuff. Also we need to turn “evergreen” into a drinking game at this point. Although at the rate they’re going it might lead to alcohol poisoning pretty quick. 😆
So is Pathfinder dead in the next expansion?
Feels odd that old flying is locked until campaign completion and new flying is immediately available, but at least that's a much better place than two major patches and (thankfully axed) renown requirements to unlock static flight.
It irritated me that "Dragonriding" didn't apply to all flying mounts during Dragonflight. I am glad that will now be possible, in addition to the ability to utilize our flying mounts in such a manner for all zones. I felt--while not tied to player power--that "Dragonriding" was just another system tied to its expansion, instead of an upgrade for flying in general. Evergreen content and systems are great. I'm just jaded with all the things that have been tossed to the wayside over the years, utilized as nothing more than some gimmick to waste your time rather than something that lasts and enhances your gameplay.Honestly, while I've always had issues with WoW (no game is perfect), I have faith that it can only get better from here on out, play-time metric game design and monetization be damned.
But how will we toggle it is my concern... via a static NPC in some building or via a spell in our spellbook? Cuz I'd really prefer the latter
oh this guy still alive?
