It's ridiculous at this point that currencies aren't account-wide. Instead, they have to do so much more coding to create a new currency, bind it to a character (often taking up bag space), then sometimes create a new item that sits on a vendor that has to be purchased, then mailed to another character, then consumed by that character, etc. It's a lot of work. Requiring the use of an addon to track which character on which server has which currency so I know which one to use for rep or grinding currencies should really be a thing of the past come Dragonflight.I feel this acutely when Timewalking comes around and I have badges on a dozen characters and none of them have enough badges to buy anything good.
Adibags FTW.
What we actually need is a currency squish.
Now if only edit mode allowed us to MOVE the bags or reshape the combined bag.
I didn't know "combined all bags into one" option is coming in DF, this is a great QoL change/update!It will really be great if they can add the option to show in the tooltips if any of your alts have the same item(s) in their bags as well. That change will be enough to get rid of many external bag addons like ArkInentory, AdiBags, Bagnon etc... and also any items trackers for alts.
wow, i wasnt aware that this is a feature, i thought its an elvui thing. lmao
Not a fan of the combined backpack, sucks I won’t be able to use the currency tracking. However the UI overhaul left me underwhelmed so I will probably just track it with other UI addon like I do now. It’s just too little and too late.
A better idea would be stop having so many currencies
Cool, now make them all account wide.
Fewer currencies would be better, but as long as we don't get more psedo currency like anima or korthia rep with tons of different types that take up bag space I'll be happy.
