Isn't that what is already going on right now? Sounds more like they just want to keep it a pain so people won't switch as much because they can't balance the covenants. Which I believe was the feedback worry in beta they got lol. I know players that have literally done all 4 covenants not because they want to, but so it will be easier to switch when Blizzard nerfs/buffs/changes covenant abilities.
The biggest thing i hate about blizzard is, it doesnt matter is 99% of the playerbase hate something they refuse to damage their pride and double down on it. so dumb. other than that, good changes.

It is approximately 1/10th of a socket. If it was something like 2.5k-3k stygia or enough to do a conduit upgrade it would feel like a better alternative than 750. As it is, if I get another vault of 9 items that are either duplicates of what I have or a bunch of the same slot I don't need an upgrade in, I would hope that I'd get something to help upgrade gear or advance something. As it is, I'd have to take stygia for 3+ weeks to get a conduit upgrade and 9 weeks or so to get a socket. Yes if I add the stygia I get from the vault to what I farm, it adds up faster, but that's not the point. The point is that it is my option instead of gear and should be a bit more rewarding than what it is.

I dont have faith that they can build an effective m+ grouping system that isn't a solo queue. All of the existing problems are going to carry over from raider.io. All this new M+ (yet another system) is going to do is solidify the player optimization meta. Why design an endless endgame mode that excludes so many people who didn't chose a class that could do the endgame mode. This is such a trash design.Just give us a solo queue. If some really bad class combos are in a group, give a stupid damage/healing buff or something so they can get through it. It's not rocket science, use the damn data you get from the runs to determine what conditions the buffs exist.If they want to work on something to help drive friendship creation then do it as a different project for 9.2 and beyond and do it right.
I'm annoyed that they brushed off the guild question... It's been a decade of ignoring guilds at best, and promoting not being in one at worst.
Or they should go back to the guild perks progression system, because they were actually kind of fun. Just reset the progress every expansion and add new ones. Problem solved about people not wanting to create or join.
