I just choose not to engage in these high anima-cost activities. The juice is not worth the squeeze. Your system is a failure, Blizzard.

Welp, better start saving. The other battle gargons are nice, but I've wanted the purple-armored one since I laid eyes on it.
I would do WQs in the last expansions, but once they didn't give us a flight master whistle your item it just became such a slog.
Im halfway through my ember court progression and want to change covenants. feels really bad to lose all progress.
The anima costs of everything are insane, cosmetic items of all things...what is Blizzard thinking? I'm casual so don't raid or do mythic+. all i care about are cosmetics, lore and story , so how in the right mind am i suppose to get any of those covenant cosmetics with WQs which reward 35 anima? Thing is, if it was player power locked behind it, sure, but they are just vosmetic appearances.
ITT: People complain they have to play the game a lot to reap all the rewards. You people need to damn well learn what an MMO is. The diluted crap that you're used to isn't what MMOs actually are. Blizzard's gone back to their roots with this system, as something that you're constantly working on, improving, and getting the benefits of over an entire expansion. You're so used to having free junk shoveled down your greedy gullet every patch, it's a shock to your system that you actually have to put effort in over an overarching period of time. I'm consistently sitting on 8k anima in reserve, with most of my covenant sanctum upgraded decently, and though I could buy some of the cosmetics or a mount now, I'm waiting a bit. The only time I find myself short on anima is when I've been a lazy a-hole and haven't done what I should be doing to stay on top of it. And in those situations, you know what I do?I put in the damn work.I do my two PVE weeklies, my two PVP weeklies, do some anima world quests, kill the world boss, and run some dungeons. You know why? Because that gets me anima. You know what doesn't get me anima? Whining on messageboards about how I have no anima. I swear, if you people spent half the time actually playing the game that you do complaining about this BS, you'd be flush with anima. So sorry you're not getting something for nothing.Oh, and if you swing with the excuse that "I have a real life, I don't have TIME to play the game and do all that stuff" then might I suggest one of the other literal THOUSANDS of games that are on the market for you to try, instead of an MMORPG, which have historically always rewarded those who put in the most time?
